Poor quality
Rather poor and rough build and finish quality. It was bought as a present but I’m rather embarrassed to give it as it looks shoddy

Beautiful box
I was happy with the beauty of this puzzle box, and, the technicality of the puzzle. It will be fun gifting it to my grandson who LOVES puzzles. Attempting to Open this box without instructions is "interesting", but with the help of the hints sent by Amazon in a separate email, it became simple. My main concern turned out to be whether or not the box would arrive in time for Christmas. Amazon came through! Thanks to all.

Great Simple Puzzle Box
The box looks beautiful (I got the "all brown" one) and functions well. I did initially receive the wrong box, but the seller quickly corrected that error. This was purchased as a gift for my father and I know he'll love it. Once you know the trick, it's very easy to remember how to open it. The box comes with an extra key.
