Wonderful book
We just read this with my four year old son and he loved it. He would laugh aloud and it definitely had him using his imagination. We are starting to read it for the second time now. One of the best kids books I have read.

Book is great. Kindle formatting is terrible
The story is great, just as I remember from my own childhood.Unfortunately, as is so often the case. there has been no attempt to format it for the kindle. It looks like it was just scanned in.Page numbers from the original book will appear randomly at the end of a line.Chapter titles also appear at the end of a paragraph. There has been no attempt to format it as an e-book and to that end the price is too high. If they want to sell an ebook they could at least make some effort to prepare the book.

A Delight for Elementary School Children
I can remember reading the many stories that were about The Magic Far Away Tree. What a vivid imagination these books gave you. When I was very young I used to be in bed at night and think up places to visit that would come to the Magic Tree. The Magic Far Away Tree is a special tree in the woods and inside it were all sort of funny characters who make their home inside the tree. It was a huge tree that reached into the sky but the strangest thing about it was if you climbed all the way to the top it was in the clouds and inside the cloud was a different magical land. Oh, what fun and adventures the children who climbed the tree had. I credit the whole series of Magic Far Away Tree adventure with making me an avid reader which I still am today. I absolutely devoured these stories when I was about 7 years old. I bought this copy for my grandchildren to enjoy -- not exactly Harry Potter but a little more charming I think.

Great story!
My daughter who is almost five, loves reading this story.Wonderful characters. My only complaint is there are no illustrations whatsoever. It would be nice to have this book with a few illustrations at least. There are also some typos throughout...Small little things, but the overall story is wonderful!

adventurous imagination
I read this book in grammar school; like Peter Pan or the Secret Garden, it opened up the idea that a child's perception of the world IS different & just as important as what adults think the world is.

Great story but a bad digital transfer
The stories in this book are a lot of fun and my daughter loved them. What I noticed was that the page numbers showed up randomly, often times in the middle of the page and there were no illustrations.

Condition of book is not as expected
The front of the book has scuff marks and the side of has what seem to be small stains from something damp. Looks like I have purchased a second hand book.

Loved it as a child, love it as an adult. Timeless adventure classic
I recently introduced my youngest kids to Enid Blyton's enchanting world through "The Magic Faraway Tree," i loved it as a child, my eldest comes to listen too when i read it at bed time even though he knows it off by heart now. Seeing how captivated they are made me realize just how timeless and magical this book truly is.From the very first page, I was transported back to my own childhood, where I would eagerly turn the pages, desperate to discover what new and exciting land awaited at the top of the Faraway Tree. Enid Blyton has a remarkable gift for storytelling, and this book is no exception. Her vivid descriptions and lovable characters make you feel as if you are part of the adventure with Jo, Bessie, and Fanny. The Magic Faraway Tree is a testament to the power of imagination and the importance of friendship. Each chapter introduces a new and fantastical land and adventure at the top of the tree, from the bustling land of Topsy-Turvy to the delights of the Land of Goodies. Every adventure is fantastic and will leave you wanting to read the next one. What sets this book apart is its ability to capture the imagination of both children and adults alike. As a child, I loved Moon-Face, Silky the fairy, and now as an adult i find myself being more like the deaf old Saucepan Man. Even now, I appreciate the timeless themes of friendship, kindness, and the boundless wonders of the imagination. This book was written a long time ago and may appear a little old fashioned and maybe not to modern exacting political correct standards, but look past this and enjoy it for what it is a series of wonderful childrens adventures"The Magic Faraway Tree" is not just a book; it's an enchanting journey that has stood the test of time. I'm thrilled to see how my kids love with this classic tale. It's a must-read for anyone who believes in the magic of books and the power of a child's imagination. This is a story that will continue to capture hearts and inspire dreams for generations to come.
