Would this make your hair look white, especially type 4 hair?

It will not but before you put it on your hair please melt it some or melt it and let it cool then whip it then put it on your hair.

Can i use this as hand cream right out of the jar? does it have to be mixed?

You can use it right out of the jar but it is solid so you'll have to keep it in a warm place to keep it soft or rub it between your hands.

Kokum butter is supposed to be one of the hardest butters. I purchased this item and it’s softer than shea butter. Is this really pure kokum?

I found the same with my product. Too soft and supposed to be considered one of the hardest butters. I am questioning if it is pure Kokum or if it is refined as the product description mentioned the word refined but the label says raw.

Is this smooth or hard?

Hi, Now it is hard. To better learn about it, I took the following from the internet. Hope it helps: Is kokum hard or soft butter? Kokum is naturally a very dry and hard butter; it will appear flaky and cracked, although it will melt upon contact with skin. It is best to use this butter in combination with other oils and/or butters to make it more pliable and easy to use.
