The retractable handle still holds on all the height options and closes at the touch of the top button. All zippers work perfectly and the interior, including the mesh pockets, is in the same condition as the day I purhcased it. I store an HP and Mac laptops, ipad, multiple charging cables, mouse, notebook, pencil case, dry erase markers, stapler, water bottle etc. There is plenty of room and the compartments facilitate organization. The only, minimal, down sides are: 1) the black interior makes it a little challenging to find smaller items, especially my black computer mouse and charging cable when I hurriedly throw them into the main comporatment. (You may consider purchasing an interior bag light for ease of finding things). 2) the side/exterior vertical, compartments, such as for a small umbrella or slim water bottle, make the bag even wider, causing me to catch it and bump into things esp. around corners. Since it gets rolled in busy hallways around crowds between classes, I don't use the side compartments much, and instead opt to keep those things in the main compartment (I have a great Contigo water bottle that locks closed.)
