Lifelong train fan; I have lots of G scale trains that appear at Christmastime. This set goes to the other extreme—Z scale! I added one car to this set, to make the train a little longer. Noticed that the table I put it on wasn’t quite level—the engine would slow down and sometimes stall when traveling “uphill”—so I had to crawl under the table to add shims to raise, in this case, the two table legs that were against the wall. Much better after that. A fun little train set—and I mean LITTLE!

This train is so small but works great. I didn't know it came with a power pack & some track-even a little ice skate rink and some out buildings. Not know it came with track I bought some of the track that has a base on it already and works nicer anyway. It looks great going around the xmas tree.
