The Fresh & Save vacuum containers are designed to work with the vacuum pump to keep food fresh up to five times longer than non-vacuum storage. They are available in borosilicate glass or BPA-free plastic. Both versions are nestable and freezer, microwave (without vacuum seal), and dishwasher safe. Glass containers are ovenproof (without lid) and double as beautiful serving pieces at the table. Each container style is available in a range of sizes so you can store an entire leftover dinner, a light lunch, or a small to-go snack. A: The plastic is proprietary information, however it is completely safe to use

love this set, love the whole product line. I have these containers in both the plastic & the glass - the glass version is very heavy, so I ordered extra of the plastic. I like the bags that are part of the system, but I love the containers. This keeps everything so fresh in fridge; and the pieces are very easy to keep clean. the vacuum seal itself is very durable and I have had no issues with any of the pieces, incl handheld vacuum itself, over several months of use. highly recommend this set.

I purchase these to see if they would fit with my Chef Preserve brand sealer. They work !! I was so delighted because Chef Preserve isn’t selling their containers in Canada yet. I received almost week ago and sealed my fresh spinach. The spinach is still fresh and the seal has been holding. I’m impressed with the quality.
