The media could not be loaded.  I got this for my five year old daughter for Christmas to use in her room as a nightlight. The set up was really fast and you can start using the projector as soon as you plug it in just by pressing the button on the side. If you want to change the colors and settings more precisely you'll have to download the app and connect your device. Just as a side note, this is only compatible to connect via wifi if you have a 2.4 ghz wifi frequency. Which I do not have. I was able to get it to work eventually with a work around, though, but most things use 5 ghz now so that really should be an option.The app lets you:- Turn on and off the stars and/or clouds separately.- "Pick" the colors of the clouds (although this isn't very accurate, but still nice to have some options) - as a side note the stars cannot change color; they are always green.- Change the brightness of either the stars or the clouds, separately.- Make the stars spin or be stationary and choose the speed that they spin to a degree (the speed options appear to range from slow to barely moving).There are also a few premade scenes in the app that you can chose from, but none of them suited my needs and even though it says you can edit them, the app seems to forget the changes as soon as you back out of it even after saving it, so unfortunately they aren't really useable. Overall, the app feels clunky and finicky to me. It doesn't always let me do what I want the stars to do, but it's better than not having a remote at all. Maybe there will be an update at some point to correct and/or add more capabilities.There is a timer setting which lets you tell the stars how long to stay on, if you want, and there is an option to schedule the stars to turn on at a certain time. I use both of these for my daughter's room so that they come on just before bedtime and go off after an hour or so when she's sleeping.The projector itself and the quality of the lights I would give a 5/5 for this price range. The app is something like 2.5/5 for me and since the app is so integral to using the projector, it had to take a star off the overall product.

The item comes well packaged.To be clear, you need to plug this item into a USB port, so you need to have or purchase one of them. Remember this if you give it as a gift. Sort of like not including batteries.The ProsNice to have control from your phone.You can smoothly control the brightness and speed of the lasers and the clouds.You can smoothly control the color of the clouds, as well as their saturation. Hard to describe the effect here. There are clearly three LEDs (RGB) and so you don’t get one color. So if you pick purple as the color you get clouds with one side blue and the other red and they overlap. If you choose to rotate the clouds then the whole thing rotates. If the saturation is low then all of the colors look the same, sort of like looking at a color picture in black and white.There are scenes, combinations of colors and how to transition. You can flip from one color to the other, or have one color fade out and the other fade in. You can create a sequence of many colors for a scene. This is all pretty cool.The ConsIt seems they needed to get the money for the WiFi from somewhere, so the star projection seems lacking. They are not pinpoints and not that bright.Also has the silly three flat spots so you can’t aim it as you might like. How about making it round with a base it sits in?The grid of the stars is also very apparent and the bright stars form a box pattern with the other stars much dimmer.ConclusionI liked the idea of the Smart Life app and thx quality is fine, but the clouds don’t seem that vibrant and the stars were fuzzy and streaks on most of my ceiling. Sadly I returned it.

The media could not be loaded.  This product is so cool. The lights move and the stars move too. The stars are only one color they are green. I bought a cheaper Version of a star projector the first time. It was one of those that are flat and are not adjustable. This one is the best quality since I broke my last one. The cool lights are so cool because you could have multiple colors at once. The base is adjustable and the angle where it projects on the ceiling is much better than the competitors. Highly recommend you guys getting this one. I love how I can sync it to my Alexa I I have to say is Alex goodnight to shut it off and Alex turn my lights on to turn it on. Super cool and the app is easy to use.

This this is so cool I’m obsessed and also anyone who has seen it wants one too. This would make a great gift for a Techy adult or even a kid. It really creates a cool atmosphere in the room your in. Also love that it works with your smart phone and hooks up to google home or Alexa I can just tell google to turn it on and it works. Has a timer so you can fall asleep and have it shut off. Also lights are fully customizable you can make them dim or bright or spin slow or faster or change the colors. Only thing is the lazer stars are green haven’t found a way to change that but don’t think you can. Would be cool if the lazer could change color so the stars look more realistic like yellow or blue. Overall I’m super happy I got this and at the sale price I got it at seemed like a steal. Saw something super similar to this on a Instagram ad for double the price of this thing. YOU NEED ONE OF THESE TRUST ME. Also gift a few to your friends they will love it.

The media could not be loaded.  I just got this, so we’ll see how it holds up over time. I got an option, so the stars are blue, not green, and it looks more realistic. It’s very lightweight and pretty compact. There are three buttons on the side to turn the light on and off, adjust the brightness, and adjust the stars, clouds, and movement. There are two ways you can stand the base to aim directly up or slightly forward. It doesn’t change colors or anything, but it’s the best quality I have found. The stars still look a little like they’re on a grid but will diffuse a bit if you get it far enough away from the surface you’re aiming at.

The media could not be loaded.  Está muy muy hermoso, pero el que no traiga control si es un problema. Por que en mi caso pongo a Alexa con audiolibros y alejo todo lo demás. Y no puedo ajustar los colores desde Alexa, pero fuera de eso está hermoso, el timer también se pone desde app no puedes decirle a Alexa que lo ponga. Considerando eso, es recomendable.
