I bought this cake thinking it would last a week. It barely survived the afternoon. It’s incredibly moist, rich, buttery, and packed with amazing flavor. I have enjoyed these cakes since I first tasted one in Grand Cayman over 30 years ago, and they still taste great! These cakes haven't changed at all, except for adding a few different flavors. They are moist and flavorful. Yes, the taste of the rum is strong, but not overpowering. Hey, that's the point of rum cake, right?. I've ordered the variety pack and I'm very much anticipating trying them all.

The little cake has a big taste. It's moist and will melt in your mouth. The aroma ( of rum) will hit you as soon as you open up the package. Can you say Mmm ,mmm good!! I loved it so much I just had to send a few more orders to friends.

I bought this cake as a birthday surprise for a family member. They were always one of his favorite treats when he used to visit different islands on vacations. He was very pleased to receive the cake and said it was every bit as good as he remembered! He loved it!

Love these!! I was on vacation in the Bahamas and wanted to bring some home, but the airport prices were ridiculous. I ordered them from Amazon and they arrived in time for me to bring them to coworkers as gifts from our trip!

Very very tasty

So I saw some of the other reviews and they gave me pause, I have purchased these directly in the Bahamasa and on a cruises ship and direct from Tortuaga it self the one I recived here is exactly the same cake I purchased overtime. Is it possible to recieve a bad cake from time to time, im sure, but the one I just opened was not only moiste but fresh and delicious. If one were to recive a bad one I would simply send it back and get another, is that why we have Prime or purchase from Amazon? if you have never had one this as good a rum cake as you will find anywhere and the price is resonable. There are other cakes you can buy online for a LOT more money and not nearly as good. Ill be buying more.
