and like the guy and his family
Full disclosure: I know Jeff Hayes let, hunt with him, and like the guy and his family. That does not get him a free ride on this review and he knows it. While I claim to be seeking perfection, Jeff characterizes me as a nitpicker-a caveat you may want to keep in mind.Oh, those nits. A seventy-five word sentence in the "Book Description!" I will spare you my errata sheet comments on punctuation. Although repetition can be reinforcing, I sense a bit too much repetition in this book. Jeff is being a bit disingenuous writing about the company that would fine him, if he used certain words while on the air. It was not them not letting Jeff be who we is, it was them in their minds saying, "We can't do this." This is the fallacy Jeff clearly defines in his book.Jeff takes you on a serious trip of who you are and you can't help but begin a self-analysis. Do I tell myself I can't, when I should be saying, I can? Am I trying to be someone I'm not? Jeff gives us names and examples of great people, who are the same whether they are at home or in the office -no make-believe's. They are authentic, because they know who they are and are who they are.Jeff is at his best, when he challenges the reader: "Tell me: what are the main criteria for the direction you want to go,..." He is forcing you to inventory yourself , based on what he is just told you. This is one of the most significant values of the book, his ability to lead you to introspection. Then he give you his answers, so you can compare them with yours. True wisdom.

Awesome to read!
I don’t just understand why people call him an arrogant. Although, He’s very straight forward and represented what actually happened in life of such people. Great pick!

My New Bible for Thinking Big
I am a fan of Jeffrey Hayzlett and have enjoyed all his books. However, this one is my favorite. While other reviewers have described him = as "arrogant" or "abrasive" - I see a man who knows what he wants, goes after it unapologetically, has enjoyed huge success because of it and wants to inspire and help others have their own similar successes. I read this book in one sitting. Between Hayzlett and his writer, Jim Eber, they have delivered an entertaining, easy read. There were even a few examples and stories that caused me to laugh out loud, startling the two Shih Tzu's laying beside me. The book is not for the faint of heart, however. If you're like me, you'll find yourself asking bigger questions, rewriting your story, challenging your own excuses and, hopefully, acting bigger. Each chapter had more than one idea I could use in my business. I read it with a highlighter and a notepad beside me and by the time I finished I had a good list of BIG Actions I will take going forward. You can sit back and feel envious of the success of others. Or, you can read this book, put the ideas into action, and create your own version of success.
