Great product for my Hafinger mare. I tried a lot of those but this one is the best for her. You have to take time for adjusting the thing firt but after that it goes very well.

Clever Morgan mare- 1, Grazing Muzzle-0
After using the muzzle daily for 2 weeks, Sadie (my Morgan mare) learned to separate the basket from the 'headstall'. She came in from the pasture with the headstall in place. After walking through the pasture, I discovered Sadie had 'thrown' the basket 10 feet beyond the fenceline. I took the pieces to a local tarp/boat cover person. He reinforced and resewed the torn attachments. He had doubts about the type of thread used to originally attach the headstall to the 'basket'. He is a professional who understands the materials needed for outdoor use. This product is the most comfortable grazing muzzle my horse has worn and worth salvaging. I recommend having the stitching reinforced or 'padded' brass rivets added before using the muzzle.

I bought 2 muzzles like this 2 months ago for my easy keeper horses
I bought 2 muzzles like this 2 months ago for my easy keeper horses. I am so pleased with them. The designed certainly had it very right. I have one Houdini who can get out of any muzzle. However he doesn't even try with this muzzle. I think its the wide nostril space , so he doesn't feel like he is suffocating and plus the well designed grazing hole. Thank you for making my summer and my horses summer. So much pleasanter. Love the color also.

Real disappointment compared to the first one I bought
The first Tough 1 Easy Breathe (black) I bought in Feb held up really well. The bottom hole area finally wore through after 9 months of daily use. Our ground is really rocky and sandy, and I figured the bottom would get worn through faster than it did. It also held up well to dumb horse games, and NEVER came off. I bought this orange one early on as a back-up not knowing how durable the first one would be or how easy it would come off. I also figured bright orange would be easier to find, and color would be the only difference in the two. I was wrong. Not sure why there is a difference in quality, but there is. Three days after I retired the black one and started using the orange one, the stitching started coming apart on the long strap, and came off of him. The black one had rivets securing this strap that the orange did not. We put rivets through the strap and put it back on him. It has continued to visibly disintegrate before my eyes every day. Its been just shy of 45 days and I had to pitch it today. The interior cushion lining is falling apart, the stitching everywhere is coming out, and the muzzle basket has essentially separated from the nylon on the bottom side. The bottom side of the muzzle was in his mouth like a bit and he couldn't get rid of it. Hope he hadn't been fighting long to get it out. Huge disappointment. I bought another black one as soon as I saw how this one was falling apart. Hope its like the first one.
