Shomin Sample: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

If you’re a fan of silliness than this cast of dim witted lollygaggers is for you! The cast is over the top and unapologetically ridiculous. It does have it’s serious moments, but there is also a huge, “throw reality out the window,” aspect to it.It was a good anime for a laugh.

The media could not be loaded.  I love anime. I’m not afraid to admit that. As long as it catches my interest, I’ll give it a try.Shomin Sample is one of the funniest ecchi harem animes I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch.Quick run-down: An average student is kidnapped by a group of muscular men and taken to an elite, all-girls school to become their “shomin sample” - a sample commoner for the girls to learn from. All the while he has to pretend to have a muscle fetish if he wants to stay and... uh, keep his manhood.The funniest part about this series, to me, is the girls’ reaction to everything our protag teaches them - from instant ramen to manga.The jokes and shenanigans come fast and furious, the fanservice arrives heavy, but it also has some heartfelt moments to break up the pace, ensuring the viewers attention is kept - and somehow succeeds.Overall, this is a fun and funny ecchi harem comedy that is sure to make both casual and hardcore fans laugh out loud - even in the opening animation.

The show I must say is by far one of the most hilarious ones out there. There are some adult topics in the show so I wouldn't recommend kids under 16 to watch it because they would catch on with the show.Anyways it's full of love, romance, and a tiny bit of betrayal in it. Otherwise you won't want to leave the bed, sofa, or whatever your on to miss a second of it.

Great story, animation well done, ending wide open (as with most for another season). Better done than most I've seen. Good value for the price.

Liked the series but wish it went on a little longer like should have ended the main guy acting like he likes muscles on men when he straight. I guess to keep my man hood from being cut off I guess I would do the same to keep it.

The teenage boy stuck in an all-girls school! No problem there, right? The boy is the Shomin Sample, the "commoner sample". The girls are daughters of the elite class, and most don't even have a clue how commoners live life. They've never had to use the public train for commuting, or ever gone to a fast food place. That's where our male protagonist comes in, actually, is forced in! He's to teach the girls what commoners do and how they live, so they don't remain ignorant. And he better watch where his hands are at all times! While he does make some really good friends, his time at this school could end any time...

So far, I've only watched 3 episodes of this series, but when Crunchyroll and Funimation announced the break up, I had to get a physical copy.The main character is kidnapped by an elite all girls school, to train the students about a commoners life.There is a lot of fanservice, and some weird humor, but the show has a lot of heart.I recommend it 😁

Not a review of the show since it’d be stupid to buy the Blu-Ray of a show you haven’t seen. You get what you pay for. On time delivery with minimal issues. Blu-Ray/DVD in excellent condition, no scratches. Only complaint would be the price (in my opinion this show is not worth $45+, especially a cheesy harem show.) but anime being expensive is nothing new.

いまやデフォのコンビパック、まあ場所はそれほどとらないからいいですが、値段もＢＤのみよりかは多少高い気がして、これはどこの指示なのかと不思議に思います。ＢＤは強制字幕、まあ英語だとどういう表現なのか解ってそれはそれで面白いですが。１～９話、１０～１２話入ってます。

Don't want to spoil anything, so I shall just say that this anime was so cute and entertaining that I needed it on blu-ray!
