They are just not easy for me to use. This peeler, however, is a game changer!The way it swivels makes peeling so easy because it peels the vegetable/fruit smoothly, almost with no effort. I'm able to peel a whole side of a carrot with one stroke instead of multiple times. Peeling all the way around apples and potatoes is easy as well.The handle is big, comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver. It has a good weight to it too.
