Adapters
Once you have the parts, installing should be easy.I went to a smaller plumbing store... Godwinns around me. Told him that I had an old claw foot tub and he gave me the right sizes and connections right away.Admittedly I picked sink lines that were too long but it’ll work just the same.(see picture) I didn’t have shut off valves so I added two angles on there as well. I have old pipes and it fit well. Install shutoff Valves first if you need to and then test the water. Make sure there aren’t any leaks and then add the hoses.Shower:I had to use a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter for a regular shower head to fit the riser bar. I used plumbers tape only for the riser where shower head adapter connects. Also, I bought a 50in shower riser and that was a mistake, I’m 5’8” and it’s about face level. So I got a shower head with the line on it so it tilts up and that’s better. I recommend a 62” riser.Hope this helps someone!! And if you’re a lady you can do it too, I just needed some muscle help with tightening the connections.

Looks NIce But ...
This faucet was purchased to replace an identical faucet bought some years ago that was working but was starting to drip. Rather than try & repair it I decided to replace it since it was in a rental & I wanted it to be maintenance free. The faucet has been in use for less than 60 days and the diverter assembly inside the spout fell out. The tenant was able to put it back together but for some reason only half of the water goes to the shower, the rest comes out the spout giving the tenant little pressure to shower with. (She'd complained about this in the beginning but thought it might get better somehow. It didn't) When I compare the 2 faucets they are identical in every way except the older faucet seems to have been built with tighter tolerances inside so that when you pull up on the diverter handle / button, it stays & very little water comes out of the spout. This seems to be a production problem as another buyer here had the same exact problem and I don't see a remedy for it. Time to return it to the manufacturer and reinstall the old one. It's too bad because the faucet is nice looking and seems pretty well made, but if it doesn't work it's just an expensive paperweight !

Shower pull has a manufacturing default - DON'T BUY
We also have to take out the shower pull and reassemble every 3rd shower or so. It is very frustrating. It is a manufacturing default. The rubber gasket doesn't stay in place so when you pull the shower pull nothing happens. Water continues to come out of the faucet. You have to take it apart, put the rubber gasket back in place and put it back together. We have even tried gluing it. Don't buy this. You will regret it. There are many other reviews saying the same thing.

Very cheaply built
This is the second faucet I have had for my claw foot bathtub. They are the same faucets but the first one came in a kit to add a shower curtain rod and shower head. The first one lasted about 4 months before the plug to make the shower turn on fell apart. Then about 7 months before I had to take it apart and mess with the seals because the water would not turn off all the way. But due to the way these faucets are built, there almost a sealed unit so you can't replace any parts on them. After a year and a half of messing around with this one and Jimmy rigging it so it would work again, I decided to buy another one. This is the only one I could find under 100 dollars and I plan on remodeling the bathroom anyway and getting rid on the claw foot bathtub so I'm not spending a ton of money on another faucet. The new one didn't last 2 week and the shower plug fell apart! Now, 3 weeks in, the hot water won't turn off all the way! I do not recommend this product unless you just need it for looks. It is not built to be used every day.

Good Buy for the Cost: Heavy Duty 3 3/8" Centers Chrome Plated Diverter Clawfoot Tub Faucet
What I like about the Heavy Duty 3 3/8" Centers Chrome Plated Diverter Clawfoot Tub Faucet is it's lower price. Most diverters that fit clawfoot tubs are priced much higher, and for the medium quality of its make it is a good bargain. What I don't like about the Heavy Duty 3 3/8" Centers Chrome Plated Diverter Clawfoot Tub Faucet is part of the diverter is made of plastic on the inside and will break over time, this is what happened to the last one I had. I also don't like that the faucet turns in the wrong direction. Anyone not aware that the handles turn up, instead of down like they should, will put a great deal more wear and tear on the fixture, causing it to break sooner than it should.Installation tip #1My solution to the handles turning the wrong way was to take them off and position them pointing down, so the only way you could turn them is up.Installation tip #2We opted using two Watts D60U Universal Dishwasher Kit with 3/4-Inch FGH EL, Stainless Steel, 60-Inch to install the faucet. The converters, only sold at professional plumbing supply stores, usually run about $50 each. Most standard dishwasher kit use the same 3/8 elbow fitting and include the supply hoses that fit the standard water supply connection valve.

The spout is very large and the adaptor for the shower does not line up with anything to connect the hand held shower. But when it came I could not use my hand held shower. I was able to find a connector that fit a hand held shower through K & B Distributors, Inc. K & B Distributors, Inc were extremely nice and the part came in a couple days. But when the faucet (not the part I bought as an adaptor) it in shower mode, the water still comes out the spout. This is not good because while trying to adjust the temp the water hits my mom's feet when she is sitting on the shower chair in the tub.I wrote earlier (above) that this faucet was not great. Now the part you faucet had parts fall off of it. Several parts fell off into the tub. The main piece is pulled up to allow the water to go to the shower. I cannot find any instructions on how to put the parts back. The faucet will allow water to go into the tub. But I bought it for the shower attachment. It was a cheap price but not even worth what it cost:(pull up to allow the water to come out the
