Great addition if you want to hard wire your Pruveeo dash cam. Installation is pretty straight forward and anyone with basic electrical knowledge shouldn't have a problem. My only suggestion is that if you are not mechanically and/or electronically inclined to have it installed by someone who is. While it is simple to connect compaired to other wiring projects, it still may require minor modification and disassembly of dash/A-pillers/etc to install cleanly. As for compatibility I had no issue connecting it to the dash cam. So far it has worked reliable and has not killed my battery, allowing continous 24hr recording. Overall a great value as it eliminated the need for use of the power port in my vehicles, leaving it free for other uses.

Great product! Hardwired my camera in my car. This pack allows me to run my camera while my car is parked without running my battery down. A great product. I also don’t have the inconvenience of wires hanging down the middle of my windshield to plug into my cigarette lighter to activate my camera. Hardwiring allowed me to operate my camera without wire distractions. I love this product. In fact I bought a second pack for my husband.

This hardware kit works for the VIOFO A129 Pro Duo dashcam perfectly. The usb c to mini usb adapter is extremely handy for dashcams that still use mini usb for power. It is future proof if you want to upgrade to a dashcam that uses usb c. The cable length is substantial and long, I had to tuck it under a plastic panel with the module. Parking mode works perfectly. Good price for a kit like this.

I bought this to go along with my Virrow dual camera. Did not work with that camera. The camera would never go into 'parking mode'. the camera would stay on 24x7 in full record mode, thus draining the car battery until it hit the 11.2 volts or wherever it's supposed to shut down the camera. I replaced this one with Virrow's hardwire kit and the camera now works properly. I dont' know if this is a defective item, or if it's incompatible. The vendor was GREAT and gave me a refund. But if you have a Virrow camera, I would stick with the Virrow hardwire kit. Maybe the Virrow camera is non-standard... Thanks to Pruveeo for being great about this.

Worked perfect to hook up my dash cam! Plenty of wire. Now my dashcam comes on n off automatically with the key!
