Alex Cramer Domino Set with Caramel Colored Leather Case - Professional Tournament Traveler - No Spinners Domino Set - 28 Indestructible Double Six Dominoes

Just received my #450 Alex Cramer domino set, and it is excellent! Very high quality lined leather case (the magnetic catches work perfectly), top quality ivory-like domino tiles with prominent indented black dots, and a very nice little wooden cribbage board for keeping score. Everything is beautifully made and this "travel set" is well worth the price. One small detail is that the scoring pegs for the cribbage board store in a cut-out compartment on the underneath side, with a sliding cover. This is just an example of how they have thought of everything in making this excellent product.

Beautiful set of dominoes! I own numerous sets from different manufacturers and I can attest that Alex Cramer's dominoes are the best of the lot. These tournament size dominoes are large and thick, a bit thicker than the 7/16" noted and that helps them stay upright and rock steady when playing. The black pips are also larger than some and are well done and proportionate to this size domino. The smooth leather box they come in reeks of quality, down to the stitching and magnetic latches. The walnut stained cribbage board is a nice accessory to the set so you don't have to look for that pad of paper and a pencil to keep score when playing Five Up. This Traveler's Set is priced just right and will probably last a lifetime. Alex Cramer will even replace a damaged domino free of charge whenever you need one. Highly recommended.

I BOUGHT THESE BECAUSE OF THE WARRANTY, BUT I LOVE THEM BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY AND PRICE. I HAVE A VERY OLD SET THAT WAS MY MOMS. THEY ARE ABOUT 50 YEARS OLD AND THEY WERE EXCELLANT UNTIL WE DROPPED ONE OF THE DOMINOS AND A CORNER CRACKED ON ONE DOMINO, WHICH MADE THE WHOLE SET WORTHLESS! I HAVE BOUGHT OTHER SETS BUT NONE WERE CLOSE TO THE KIND MY MOM'S WERE...THESE ARE CLOSE! REALLY WOULD LOVE IT IF THEY HAD SQUARE CORNERS, WERE A SMIDGE THICKER AND HEAVIER, BUT THEY ARE REALLY GOOD DOMINOS. I EXPECT MORE SETS WILL BE SOLD TO MY FAMILY, FOR SURE. BUY THIS SET IF YOU NEED A GOOD SET WITH A REPLACEMENT WARRANTY! NOTHING BETTER THAN 42 WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS!

These thick dominoes stand without needing holder. The cribbage board and pegs are nice quality and easy to use.

I’m very pleased with this set. We haven’t played yet, but when you open the box, it is in elegant wrapping and is obviously a quality product as you unwrap it. It comes with play instructions and everything you would want. The leather case looks and feels like the best you can get. A great value for the price. One complaint: I wanted a set that was 100% made in AMERICA. I googled Alex Cramer games and it stated that their Domino sets were 100% “assembled” in the USA” but when you open the set, the cribbage board has a sticker saying “made in CHINA” and the Dominoes themselves have a sticker saying “made in TAIWAN”. The only thing I can figure is that the beautiful case is AMERICAN made, but the rest of the set isn’t. Maybe there are no dominoes made in America, but I was disappointed to find out that the entire set wasn’t 100% AMERICAN. I think the way they say 100% assembled in the USA” is misleading. Still, a really nice product and I would recommend it.

These are just stellar! They come in a gold foiled “shoe box” with tissue paper and a hand typed thank you letter along with a certificate of authenticity. The dominoes are top notch and solid. They are perfectly uniform with no “tells.” The spots are perfectly spaced and painted. The leather snap case fits like a glove. If you are a serious domino player, you need these. Leave them in your will though, they will outlast you. Alex Cramer will replace any lost or broken dominoes. Just perfect!

Pro's: You won't be sorry you purchased this set. The Dominos were exactly what I was looking for. They are large (tournament size) and do not have the spinner bead in the middle. It is very difficult to find Dominoes any more without the spinner bead. The case is very nice and the leather is soft and feels good in the hands. Con's: The Cribbage board is small. In my opinion, the Cribbage board should be the exact same dimensions as the Domino's (as they are stacked and sitting in the case). Also, the case is a bit oversized and could be made more compact. The Domino's float inside the case and being advertised as a "Traveling" set, I would like to see the case made as small as possible - to a dimension that just fits the stacked Domino's and Cribbage board.

These Dominoes are Excellent quality! Case is Excellent quality! Alex Cramer Company customer service is Excellent quality! I contacted them a while back for another set I have and EXCELLENT Customer Service! I can't say enough about these Domino sets and the Alex Cramer Company! Thank You folks for such an excellent product!
