HEAVY DUTY
These gloves seem to work well and keep heat off hands when using for a wood stove. I have in the past bought Princess Auto gloves (watson) and they wear out very fast. These are obviously more money, but you get what you pay for. I will buy again. I have double X hands and they fit well after a couple of days. A bit tight at first but nice now.

Great for stove chucking, welding..well
I am gong to try and leave a honest review and i hope amz will post it. Lately they seem to be blocking anything but positive reviews. As a stove wood handling glove or bbq glove, im sure they are fine. The cuff is good and long.A bit smelly due to being coated in flame retardant, you can feel it on your hands when you first put them on.As a welding glove, well they are very stiff. You can forget using the pinky for anything.I don't think these will work for MIG and definitely not TIG. However they might be OK for stick welding.I am debating sending them back as i can find move flexible gloves for less.

Pretty Heat Resistant and durable!
Purchased these for my husband for a camping trip. We were bringing our own fire pit and wanted to be able to manipulate the fire and handle the fire pit while hot if necessary. I can't speak to the exact temperature it withstood but my husband was able to pick up pieces of wood from the fire and readjust them. Of course, if he were to hold them for too long, the heat would begin to penetrate the glove but to be able to pick up a piece of wood from a burning fire at all is pretty impressive. They are a bit bulky even for his large hands but that's not really a problem.

Wood stove gloves
Inexpensive but very effective gloves for keeping warm through the winter with a wood stove. Over may years I have gone through several pairs of gloves and these are effective, cheap and good vlooking. They fit my XXL hands.

Perfect for the woodstove
These gloves are exactly what I was hoping they would be -- sturdy, well-made and heat-resistant. I heat with wood and I need a good pair of gloves to avoid injury. These reach almost to my elbow and have a double layer of leather sewn onto the fingers and palms where you would expect the wear points to be. They are thick and bulky, as they need to be for maximum protection. I wouldn't try to pick up anything smaller than a log with them.
