Absolutely fantasitc clarity!
Absolutely clear and sharp. really long distance vision. i cant get over how clear these things make everything. everything looks like its under a microscope with these! Well worth the price point. These are also very rugged. You could put dings all over it and barely notice. its like a high quality rubberized coating to keep out dust and water. Lenses are top quality. Sight edge is sharp as hell.

Good long distance bino
Using 18X56 Maven C.4 on tripod one mile from shoreline to watch whales and activity in the Bay. Much better than expected! Looking across the bay (approximately 3 to 5 miles) back at land, houses, roads, trees, clear and good color with proper light. Early morning just prior to sunrise also was clear and bright. The area gets a lot of "hazy" days at distance & whale watching can be a challenge, hit & miss, but since getting these binoculars have had good luck viewing out to sea compared with my older 15X70 previous pair.Overall happy with build and price point. The Maven B.5 18X56 were very much beyond that point.PB

My first adult pair
No more training pairs. Every component is first class. Works great, strap is comfortable for viewing position. My narrow beady eyes are well accommodated,.

Great for the money
Awesome binos for the money. Don’t expect it to compete with Swarovski or the maven B series but it definitely gets the job done. Ultimately decided to return them and go with the Maven b5. I don’t believe you can find a better set of 15x56 for your money than these. I love the aluminum focus knob. They definitely feel quality in the hand. If your currently not running top tier glass than you will probably love these.

C4 18x56 is a WINNER
I had an opportunity to upgrade to the B5 18x56 and ended up keeping the C4 18x56 instead. The B5s are fantastic as most reviewers say - no doubt the highest quality - but for me, the C4 felt better in my hands, easier for me to view through (with contacts or glasses) and more balanced over the slightly recessed thumb areas under the tubes. They are also a little shorter than the B5. Optically I love the C4 - great for nature, astronomy, etc. I am not a professional guide - and if the peripheral 1-2% of the field of view is not 100% perfect, the only way I could ever notice that would be to try to look through them at an awkward angle to even see these areas in the first place. I am a very picky individual who pays attention to details, and in my job I use optics frequently to operate .I don’t feel like they are too heavy for use without a tripod, particularly if just walking around on a trail, etc., but for scanning the stars or looking through multiple layers of forest, use of a tripod is great. I feel the focusing is crisp and I love that I can dial focus through different depths of tree canopy in a forest.Image is bright, colors are beautiful - thrilled with this purchase - better than any other binos I was considering, and a “blind” test with my older teen sons both picked C4 as equal or better…Thank you Maven!

YOU WILL SEE MORE!
These Maven binos are amazing, hands down the best value in optics. The color and light transmission is far superior to other brands in the price range and even rival swaros and zeiss. Excellent edge to edge clarity and minimal light dispersion. I can literally see so much more with these binos compared to the Sigs, Leupold, and Vortex binos I had previously. Seriously excellent glass, I started with the 12x C.3 and just purchased a pair of 18x C.4, I barely ever use my $1700 spotting scope now because of how much better the color transmission is. These binos are are in a league of their own.

WoW
I was very sceptical at first because of the price, and also not having a fancy name. My son has vortex diamondbacks in 15x56 that cost around $550. so it was a toss up for me if the extra $200 would be worth it. I spent about a month searching the internet for reviews on the c4 18x56 and didn’t find many reviews on them. So because amazon has a great return policy I ordered them with the expectation that I would return them because they would not be worth it. I compared them to vortex diamondbacks 15x56, 12x50 and a 10x50 leupold. Surprisingly enough the light transmission at 500 yards was better with the mavens, colour clarity and sharpness of images is by far the best that i have tried thus far. yes they are heavier but not to the point that i can’t hold them steady. i was convinced that 18x56 binocular would be very blurred at a long distance because of the amplified magnification which would amplify my shaky hands. I’m sure some of the more expensive binoculars work as good or better but i can not justify paying $2000 or more for hunting binoculars. in the picture i have my vortex 12x50 for a size comparison and a photo that shows that they still can fit in a nice case. the only downfall is they don’t come with a nice protective case.

High quality binoculars
Love the quality! Amazingly clear and easy to focus… although weight of the binoculars and length of lenses makes them a little hard to hold still with your bare hands. A tripod might help. Love how the lens caps are attached !
