When radio is not in use, the display stays on and gradually drains the battery.But I found the solution that I didn’t see in the directions. Hold the power button down for maybe 5 seconds and the display turns off. It’s clearly best to store it this way.so as not to run the battery down.

Good little radio for the price with lots of added features. It has two very bright lights, the speaker is loud and very clear, love that you can charge it up via micro USB, solar panel, or hand crank. I highly recommend getting one before you find out you need it but don't have it in an emergency.

Perhaps its just busy me but the instructions are tiny and could be more user friendly. The radio it's self seem rock solid, the crack phone charger is the total blend of 1940's and 2021. Feels like a very good addition to a first aid kit.

I love this radio!I went away to my boyfriends Parents cabin for a weekend who don’t have hydro...It was also forecast For the whole weekend so not much sun...I got two phone charges out of it plus we used it out in the boat that whole weekend.BUT I charged it the night before on the Thursday for Friday .I’m still learning how to use the “ Volume/change the channel button”Because they are the same buttons... I’m pretty sure you hold down on the plus Sign for volume up and just keep pressing The plus sign to change the channel.....If I’m wrong it’s Vice versa...BUT! It’s awesome! I recommend it!I still charge my phone off it when I got back home on the Sunday.

Everything works, but when charging iPhone 12 it only gives 3/4 charge. And wind up does nothing, you will pass out from exhaustion before getting 1% charge on phone.
