Great Jacket!!
I am really enjoying this jacket! I bought the camo color first. Primarily to have a packable, light-weight, but warm jacket for motorcycle riding, and cold days in my kayak. It is amazing! Certainly deserving of 5 stars. It has replaced my leather bomber jacket, which was warm but heavy. This jacket appears to be very well made, the large fits me well, (I'm 5'11" 190lbs). On my motorcycle at 50mph wind does not get through! There are 2 deep pockets inside. And the two outside pockets are deep enough and have zippers! I like it so much I bought a second one in dark grey for a more dressed up look.

Survived European Backpack Trip
I bought this to take on a trip through the UK, France, and Italy. The jacket I purchased is yellow. I wanted something that would be adequately warm on a cool spring day so I wouldn’t have to bring another sweatshirt or have to pack long sleeve shirts. I also wanted something that folded up very small as I was only taking a backpack for 10 days. This jacket fit the bill perfectly. It comes with a bag which will compress the jacket down to about the size of a smaller shoe, but the way I found best to pack it was to fold it into quarters, flat, and put it on top of my clothes in my backpack. The jacket would compress almost completely flat, adding almost no bulk to my bag. It was like a magic trick how small it became. When I wanted to have it handy, but did not want to carry it, I would stick it through the handle of my backpack, pulling it halfway through, and it would stay there securely when I put my bag into overhead luggage storage on the Italo and Eurostar, making to easy to grab if I became cold. There were some cold and very windy evenings and nights when we were in London and Paris (50 degrees F, with a strong breeze coming off the Thames and Seine) and this jacket kept me warm with just a t-shirt on underneath. I encountered a brief rain shower on the Path of the Gods and stayed dry and the jacket dried pretty quickly. I can’t speak to how well it would perform in a heavy downpour as that was the only rain I experienced during my trip. Overall, this jacket was perfect for me and at the price point, I was not going to be upset if it got lost, stolen, or ruined. After being stuffed in my bag over and over and shoved into overhead storage, the jacket still looks brand new. Not to mention it looked stylish in all of the photos my wife and I took! I am 6’6” and weigh about 190lbs and I bought a large. It fit well without a lot of extra bulk and the sleeves were long enough for my wingspan. 10/10, would recommend!

Warm, comfortable jacket with minor fit issue
The stitching quality is solid, and the jacket feels sturdy enough for regular winter use. It’s very soft and comfortable. The zipper works smoothly, and the hood provides nice extra protection on windy days. I also like how lightweight it is without compromising warmth. The only downside is the length runs a little big, but overall it’s still a great jacket.

Great Lightweight Jacket,Looks Amazing!
I bought this Amazon Essentials packable puffer jacket for my husband, and we're both very happy with it. The Red Earth color is even more beautiful in person and honestly makes him look much younger! Sizing runs a little large: he usually wears an XL, but | ordered a Large, and it fits him perfectly and looks great. The jacket is lightweight but still warm, and the material feels soft and comfortable. Most importantly, he really likes it -which says a lot because he already has a closet full of jackets I can already tell this will be one he reaches for often. Highly recommend!

Cheap, effective, highly recommended
Ok first we have to remember that this is a 25 dollar jacket. That being said, I am very happy with it. Living in the Colorado mountains I bought this as an in between jacket to wear when my heavy coat is too warm, and a hoodie is too cold. It is warm enough and is perfect for the job. However today it was about 30 degrees and very windy, and this jacket cannot handle that. I would recommend only wearing it above freezing temperatures. The fit. I am 6 foot, nearly 200 lbs. waist 32, shoulders pretty broad. I run into this problem with most clothing where I have to buy Large to fit my shoulders, but the waist is way too big. This jacket is cut to fit most body types, but if you’re similar to me then you probably deal with this all the time anyway. Not a big deal, but I’m definitely glad I didn’t order a medium because Large is just enough for my shoulders. Anyway I can honestly recommend this jacket, it’s very cheap, packs nicely into the included bag, and does the job just as well as a packable north face I used to have

Great Fit, Lightweight, and Perfect for Travel or EDC
I picked up this Amazon Essentials packable puffer jacket specifically for travel and everyday carry purposes. I was looking for something lightweight, compressible, and easy to stash in a carry-on or EDC bag without adding bulk, and this jacket checked all the boxes. In terms of sizing, it runs true to form. I’m 5’10” and 186 pounds, and the large fit me perfectly—not too snug and not overly loose, with just enough room for layering if needed. The overall cut feels clean and functional, and it’s comfortable enough for both transit and casual use. While I haven’t had the opportunity to test it in colder climates just yet, the insulation feels sufficient for mild to moderately cool conditions, especially when layered. The material has a slight sheen and repels light moisture well, which makes it a good choice for unpredictable weather during travel. At this price point, it’s a very solid value. If you’re looking for an affordable, packable jacket that performs reliably for travel, commuting, or EDC, this one is easy to recommend.

Versatile light-mid weight jacket - perfect for multi-uses
It's impossible to find anything I don't like about this jacket. I'm completely surprised - especially because of the low cost. I was not expecting this level of quality, look and feel. I wanted a light weight jacket that could be layer under and especially for travel where space and weight is a concern and I didn't want to pay a lot of money for it. I looked at a LOT of jackets and they were either too warm, too bulky or too cheaply made based on reviews. And then I found this incredible jacket. It exceeded my expectations in all categories. I would say the temp range is from 20-45 degrees with fairly minimal layering/under garments, but that will depend on just what you wear underneath. It definitely does a nice job of breaking the wind, so with fleece underneath, it could be toasty at 15 degrees. It's extremely comfortable - it barely feels like you are wearing a jacket at all. I'm 6'1" with a 42" chest, 180 lbs, and a large fits perfectly with sufficient space for movement and a layer or two. The length is perfect at just below the waist and the sleeve length perfect - I wear a 36" sleeve. As others have mentioned the collar does not turn down, but it is a pretty minimal collar and with this soft material, I find I really like the collar the way it is. The material is soft and pliable and never feels stiff and uncomfortable. I bought the Heather Green and it's really a nice color that has a great casual look and it's not that shiny look - it's kinda matte type finish. I've gotten a lot of complements on it. And when I tell people what I paid they are blown away. The jacket has two large lined and very deep exterior side pockets that zip and one large interior vest pocket that does not zip or close which is fine by me. Velcro would have been annoying. And finally, it comes with a separate bag with a draw string that secures the jacket when rolled up. And the bag can attach to the inside coat hanger loop if you desire, which is how it came and the way I use it. The water resistant feature is nice for drizzle and mist, but I'll wear it underneath a waterproof windbreaker in rainy conditions. This will become my go to travel jacket. This is indeed a home run for Amazon Basics and I highly recommend this jacket.

Not much fill power!
For the price it’s a ok jacket. It’s great that it comes with a travel bag. Has 2 zippered outside pockets, 2 large inside pockets. The main zipper seems sturdy and glides smoothly. The cons…. The jacket has little to no fill… it has never gotten thicker, even putting it in the dryer! The color is a strange red. Not a maroon or a dark red as advertised. For 30$ I’ll keep it but not really a fan…….

Excelente compra!!!

Wow, what a great jacket
Great jacket. Light, warm, sleaves close nicely from wind, packable to size of a mango. Great for traveling. Excellent. Buying another in different color.

Good but tight across the shoulders.
Good quality materials and stitching. Warm under a wind proof outer layer. 3 stars only because of the cut of the jacket. It is tight across the shoulders if you are doing any activity that requires you to raise your arms.

Good value and warm
I ordered the 'tiger camo' which is NOT as illustrated (at the time of writing the photo shows normal camo pattern - see my photo for the tiger camo pattern which is a smaller, subtler and slightly darker pattern). However it was on offer at £25 and at that price I'll keep it. Excellent value for money. The jacket is very warm and comfortable. Very light weight. Fit is very slightly on the big side. I am a 42" chest 6' tall and large was perfect with room underneath for a couple of layers. Relaxed fit. Elastic at waist and cuffs. Comes with a matching stuff sack. Colour matched zips are good, and has two side zipped pockets which are of decent size. Has a deep inside pocket on both sides (no closures). Better quality than I was expecting and good value at £25.
