I really like down/down alternative filled vests. With a long sleeve shirt, it is pretty much the "ticket" here in the Northwest. Keeps your core temperature up while freeing up your arms. This is a very good quality product. Nice color range, also.

I got this vest for my dad, and it’s quickly become one of his go-to layers. I bought this for an oversea trip in January. Supplier stated 2 day delivery. They postponed it twice so it was 4 day delivery which means it missed the trip (-3 stars). Having read the reviews prior to purchase I knew this was likely to be really thin but I wanted it for it's pack-ability (+5 stars). The vest IS thin. I don't think I would wear it on trails (likely to rip). Plus, it really isn't wind resistant. I found it works best as a middle layer garment for outside or as a top layer around the house. Seems well made and VERY lightweight. It fit me as expected.

This vest is thin and I was skeptical about how warm it would be. I am pleased to say that it retains body heat well. The temperature today was not above 43°F and I was comfortable with just my flannel shirt and this vest. Being not as bulky as other puffer vest, it will fit well under my coat when the temperatures drop into the 20s and teens. It looks good and is well made, the size fits me well(5'11/ 195).

Like this vest better than expensive one bought fits better same warmth.
