This is very fine quality, 100% premium lard. I have tried a wide variety of other lard brands, and this is certainly one of the very best lards I have cooked with. I would high highly recommend this brand of lard for cooking (although it is somewhat more expensive then other brands of lard).

I've used this lard. It's okay but its purity is questionable. It has additives and is perhaps hydrogenated, meaning some trans fat in there that isn't healthy for you. Also... my latest order was accepted but then, suddenly cancelled. I would try "FatWorks" Premium Lard... which is what I ordered when Farmer John suddenly cancelled my order 12 days after I ordered it and 1 day before it was scheduled to arrive! That's awful!
