This tool actually worked. The other brand I bought had to be returned because it didn't do what it was supposed to do. This one seems to be well made and the cutters cut straight and clean. The only thing I wish it came with was a spare set of cutters since they actually work and that they had the color coding label to complete them. We all forget those sometimes so it wouldn't be a bad thing. The videos are up on that famous video site if you want to check them out.

En general en cuanto a su uso, considero que hace el trabajo nada fuera de lo normal. En funciones o configuración si considero que es muy buena herramienta.Los contras es que su empaque del fabricante es muy malo, de echo se puede sacar y volver a meter al empaque. La herramienta se veía un poco raspada y sucia de los mangos de agarre, como si se hubiera usado y después vuelto a meter al empaque de fabrica. Aclaro que el empaque de envío y llegada fue antes del tiempo establecido.

Don't expect any hand-holding on how to use this thing. Multiple ports and pockets are visible at a glance, but you might have to experiment to see the order of operations for your particular needs. The directions printed on the package are virtually useless, so just watch some tutorial videos and see where the producers are using a similar tool or function.The only problem I had with the tool itself, is that it had a hard time crimping the "three fingers" style of metal strain relief on a Cat8 cable termination (male end). I had to bend it by hand, and the finish it off with another set of pliers.Another note is that this is physically labelled Cat7, but it works with Cat8 as well. RJ45 all works the same after a certain point. A handy tool overall.

The tool seems to be pretty good quality. I won’t be using it much, just needed for some long cable terminations, so it’s everything I need. The terminators could use a guide as to how to employ the sleeve part correctly, for those of us who’ve never used this type before. But I found some guidance online and was fine.
