Mt. Angel VitaminsTriple B-12 Dots, Supports Nervous System & Energy Production (90 Dots)

I searched amazon and this is the best priced triple B12 product as it was 11 dollars then when I wrote this review, as it offers a large amount of all 3 natural forms without the toxic form made by man (cyano is cheaper to make, but more toxic, depleting the body of glutathione). Most products sell cyanocobalamin form of B12, which releases toxic cyanide. This Angel brand is from Heaven, literally, because it has the 3 natural forms in food that our body got used to for eons and that were proven to be up to 4 times more absorbable than cyanocobalamin in some studies. Methylcobalamin is the most efficient in neuron regeneration. The body uses methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin in 2 key enzymatic reactions. Cyanocobalamin and hydroxocobalamin convert to these 2 forms: methyl and adenosyl, the physiologically active forms. Hydroxo stays longer in the blood than all, far longer, and can be found in the body too, as cyano sometimes goes into hydroxo and then into methyl. That is why taking all 3 is best for the best lowering of homocysteine. Since some people lack enzymes for the transformation of methyl into adenosyl, it's critical to take hydroxo that can turn directly into adenosyl or take the methyl-adenosyl combo. Relying on cyano alone often times can lead to losing 15-25 years of life, as homocysteine goes to 20 and mortality risk goes thru the roof, increasing 5 times. The body absorbs very little orally due to stomach intrinsic factor limitation, about 10-20 mcg from a 1000 mcg pill, so one cannot overdose. A third of seniors are vitamin B12 deficient per some studies. :-)

WHOA! These just came in the mail. Opened the bottle and was surprised at how big the bottle is for the amount of supplement, (most of the bottle is empty, but the expected amount of supplement was all there from what I could see - just lots of empty space).I take massive doses of methyl B12 every day (necessary to overcome a problem with how my body utilizes methyl B12) and decided that I really should be getting some of the 2 other active forms of B12. So I thought I would try this product. I decided to try 2 dots.All I can say is WHOA I let these dissolve under my tongue, didn't swallow them. Within a couple minutes, I started feeling warm all over, like there was fire in my abdomen and chest, similar to what you might feel when you've been working out and ramped up your metabolism. I felt a bit dizzy at first, but now that that's disappeared, my mind seems clearer and my thinking sharper. The feeling of heat continues to pervade my body.Needless to say this is obviously working and obviously something beneficial for me. Mt Angel Vitamins has my attention.I am not kidding about any of this. I tend to be sensitive to medications and supplements but this really surprised me. I think my next dose will only be one dot. lol

Good cinnamon taste. Very small. They take a long time to dissolve so I end up chewing them a bit. The bottle it came in is way too large for such small dots. No cotton ball to stop them from knocking around. They were so small at the bottom that I actually took them out and counted them. I would still buy again. The picture included is 88 dots. Doesn't look like it. But yes. I counted them. 88 dots.

Not pleased at all. They do not dissolve and have a gummy texture. Sublingual vitamin b12 is what my PCP prefers for me to take since b12 is water soluable. Not sure why this vitamin is produced like a razzle candy rather than a vitamin. Returning will not reccommend to anyone! If I could give it zero stars I would!

I wanted to like this product; it is local to the pacific northwest and has three types of methylated B12. My B12 level without supplementation is 214-226 pg/ml. I began using natural factors sublingual methylcobalamin 5000 ug daily for 4 weeks to increase B12 to >2000 pg/ml, which also decreased methylmalonic acid and homocysteine levels by half. I now maintain B12 levels at 750 pg/ml using 1000 ug natural factors sublingual methylcobalamin daily. I added Mt. Angel Triple B-12 Dots for the additional forms of methylated B12. After 41 days of one tablet under the tongue daily, my serum B12 remains at 750 pg/ml. My conclusion is that they don't work for me.

Frankly I'm not sure if it's these or also the folate I started taking at the same time but I'm needing far fewer caffeine pills to get through the day than I would normally take, even as my schedule has gotten busier (as it always does near the end of an academic year). I'll definitely stay on these!

January 25, 2017It had the 90 dots and the sealed cap but the sealing paper/tab whatnot was open and made me second-guess the purchase. Waiting to finish my current supply of B-12 from a different company before I get to these so nothing to say on the dots themselves
