I have been doing my own nails for a long time and I found that this brand is amazing! I used many brands before and nothing compares to it for me. With other brands, you need to apply layer upon layer just to get an even color tone, especially with skin tones such as these ones. However with this brand, the skin tones needs 2 layers max! I love it! I have had so many compliments and I think I have already spent half the money in my budget on buying more items from Beetles!

Beautiful lasting colors

Very easy to use, has moulds in them too if youre a beginner . Use a primer and dehydrator if you want it to last longer - no fault on the product just something I've observed

wrong colors..and two are the same

It is very sheer but I love that because it is buildable and can mix the colors together for a marble effect. I love Beetle gels!

When you open the bottles, two of the colors look almost identical, but when you put them on or as I did on a test swatch, you can see a slight difference. You can always layer colors too. I have a weird pink color that is way too bubble gum pink for my age, but I bought a top gel coat from Beetles I think, that is sheer/almost holographic pink. It is perfect to tone down any too bright color. I think these would be a GREAT base color if you want to do any style writing along the edges with a darker shade or add gems. These are just perfect neutral shades for just about any skin tone. Or just a perfect shade all by themselves. As far as needing several coats, these swatches only have one coat on them, so two coats and it’s plenty! I’m always shocked when people complain about how small bottles are in certain nail kit sets. I think to myself, it’s a gel polish, it’s stays on for 7-10 days if done right, how often are people changing out these colors to need a huge bottle? It’s for the home user, not the salon owner. Just saying. lol

This was extremely easy to use but the problem I did have was when I put it on underneath when I went to press it onto my finger it moved glitter from my nail bed and I had to do an overlay, but it was easy enough and I do like it and I think it’s beautiful

I absolutely love beetle's brand gel polish. I like buying the 6 pack sets even though the bottles are half size they always last a while. This purchase is no exception. The colors look great. Though as someone who frequently buys Gel polish , the colors don't always look as they are represented in the product description. I like doing test watches on extra gel tips so I can see how they look in person. The orange and the yellow look like they are jelly polish, The rest of the colors are opaque. The swatches are done are a medium thick, one layer application. If I were doing this on actual nails, I would do a much thinner layer to ensure it cures properly but when doing the swatches I cure front side and back side. I love the colors they pair well with one another. I discovered thats these colors will "pop" better if I apply a white base beneath the secondary color. ( the blue nail doesn't have white under the flowers so the colors arent as vibrant against one another) I didn't have any issues curing and I never have had issues with retention or flaking. I use nail tips, buff the surface and apply the color. Beetles is my go to brand as its affordable and a pretty great product. Thanks!

I have been doing my own nails for about 4 months, I was using tips with gel glue/polishes and I really struggled with flooding my edges - I finally mastered my technique but I had a problem with changing my nails weekly, which was not helping me in my journey of strengthening my natural nails. I don't know if I will have the same...compulsion with polygel because I've only just done my first set but the application was easy, I found it was easier to avoid flooding my edges/cuticles. I am even trying out a new length because the nails looked so pretty out of the forms (I have been a short square girlie for....way too long for it to be acceptable for me to say girlie) we are entering our long tapered square era.
