Tried other adapters that didn’t fit my lighted mirror. This one fits perfectly and I’m finally able to use my mirror again.

This product is as advertised. It does what I need and seems like it will last a long time. HOWEVER, and this is a big one, the cord is way too short. If you intend to use this to plug something in that will sit on a piece of furniture like a dresser or tv stand, the heavy part will hang in the air and drag whatever you it is plugged into off the edge. Likewise, if you set the transformer on the counter top, the cord is far too short to reach your outlet.So, you say it is OK to sit the transformer on the countertop and just buy a longer USB cable? Keep in mind this has a very bright LED voltage display that many will find distracting. Sure, the display is way cool for an inexpensive unit like this, and useful, too, but too bright for a counter top.Overview: It is a great unit, but these cords need to be at least a foot longer, of not 2 or 3 feet longer. I am able to make do with an extension cord AND a longer USB cable even though where I was using it was directly in front of the wall outlet.

Has Many adapters some plugs I have never seen. I bought this because it has a polarity reversing cord which on my application requires a negative center which most powercubes have positive center. Many voltage selections and polarity reversing make it practically universal it worked properly when I used it. Recommended!

I got this unit mostly to set up some test beds for automotive ignition and LED lighting solutions, where I could use a oscilloscope to check varying voltages throughout the test circuits. From the description I assumed the voltage output levels were going to be selected using a know going to specific fixed settings on the adjusting know. Nope! the adjustment is a smooth sweeping lower to higher adjustment, and I am able to easily dial into the specific voltage I am after (usually 13.8v DC). It is a pulsating DC output, which is normal for rectified AC source voltage. If I had wanted a smooth DC system I would have gotten a larger, lab rated power supply. And, auto electrical systems are typically pulsating DC based, although they are 3 phase currents from their alternators. So far that has not caused me any issues in my tests. If they were to become a problem I can easily enough set up a battery and alternator power supply - but I wanted something small. It would have been a way to lock the adjusting know into a chosen position to avoid accidental changes to the output. The voltage out display is off by about 0.2 volts, not a deal breaker for me.

I got this to power a monitor that I lost the power adapter for. It works fine. however the knob to adjust the voltage is VERY sensitive. Like you have to wiggle it back and forth a couple of times to get it dialed into the correct voltage. I also noticed that it accidentally changed voltages even when I wasn't adjusting it, presumably from something brushing against the knob. Because of this I've removed the knob and haven't had any more problems since then.

I bought this and tucked it away. My overhead fan in my RV broke. I put a new fan in and needed an adjustable power supply while I waited for a new variable voltage PS or it would run full blast non stop. This thing worked while I wait for my new PS to come in. My fan is 10 amps so I have to run the fan at a slower speed. This PS does not want you to exceed 3 amps. It's been running for a week now. IT'S CHEAP AND IT WORKS!!!!!

I am an electrician, I also work on 24V DC control systems. I bought this for some of my less expensive home electronics and so far it works great. I would be very cautious about using it on sensitive electronics such as computers and phones. I think it would work, but if you use it wrong you will be sad. Be deliberate when working with electricity, even low voltage.To address another concern, most industrial 24V DC power supplies and associated electronics that I work on are designed with a certain tolerance away from 24V. So for example you could have 23.8V or 24.2V and it will be fine. However, you should try and get it as close to the voltage you need, but I wouldn't worry about being off 0.1 or 0.2 volts. I would say at 24V you are good up to 0.5 volts away, but my recommendation is to keep it at 0.2v or less.I recommend asking the electronics manufacturer if you are in doubt.It is crucial to understand polarity and how to read the symbols.This charger is very versatile and I hope it stands the test of time, but the diversity of options makes it potentially dangerous for your electronics, and it only takes a fraction of a second to destroy them if you use this product wrongly.

I needed a replacement power adapter for my AA/AAA battery charger which was more cost effective than replacing the whole unit . This power adapter does the job and I am happy with my purchase.
