I don't understand how, but it works
I found out about this gadget on social media and wasn't sure it was worth the price. It's worth every cent. My husband has the worst allergies and takes a troubling amount of medication with little relief. This has helped him clear his sinuses, maybe not completely, but well enough that he hasn't had a single sinus infection. He usually has them all spring/summer and is miserable! It's been a game changer for him. I will say it doesn't work immediately, and you need to use it several times a day (if your case is as severe as my husband's), but it does make an impact.

Stopped working after 2 months
I thought this little device worked fairly well to address minor to moderate sinus congestion and appreciated not having to take meds to clear up my sinuses, especially as I use a CPAP at night and need clear nose to breathe properly into the CPAP. All was going well, left for vacation and left this device behind, came home and it was dead. Won't charge and won't turn on. It was purchased 7/12 used for about a month and is now dead, 2 weeks outside the return window so Amazon won't replace or refund me. It was not inexpensive for what it is and to have it work for a month before dying is inexcusable. The manufacturer will only replace defective products that were purchased directly from them. Won't be repurchasing this but I hope another company makes a similar product that stands up to daily use, because I would buy that.

I came across this device a couple years ago on QVC TV. This was exactly the invention I had been looking for all my life. I mostly used this device to acupressure the acupuncture points for wellness and well-being. The device is perfect for my purposes. This time I ordered on Amazon.com the same device as a backup unit. Unfortunately, after charging the device, the power light did not turn green. Therefore, I had to return it and I will wait for a while to re-order again. Thank you, Tivic, for inventing such an easy to use and effective device and for processing my refund the same day you received the returned unit.

Wow! I'm impressed
UPDATE: after 2 1/2 months of using this - IT STILL WORKS! This is the worst time of the year for my sinuses. Normally I am taking continuous decongestant and suffering with pain and congestion. With this, I now have had probably only about 3 or 4 days that I needed to take a decongestant. I use this whenever I can feel the pressure starting to build in my head. I still have low level pressure/congestion but easily managed with no drugs! This device has really calmed my sinuses down! And no sinus infections!!!I was very skeptical about this product. I have suffered with Vasomotor Rhinitis for years and nothing really helps. I figured I would try it and make sure to return it within the 30 days when it didn't work. But it works!! The day it arrived I was in the midst of a huge flare up. I used it 2-3 times a day for the first two weeks. I started getting relief really quickly and it just kept getting better. After 3 weeks of use, I am just using it sporadically when my sinuses start to bug me. Did it cure me? Nope. But I went from sinus headaches at a pain level of 10 to sinus headaches of 1 or 2. I haven't used a decongestant or any pain medication since I got this thing. My congestion is much better. I'm not waking up with headaches anymore. Not having horrible headaches every day is really just amazing. When I first started to use it, I occasionally could feel a slight pinprick sensation sometimes. I would just move the device slightly until it stopped. But that gradually subsided and all I feel is the vibration now. I'm so glad I took the chance to try this! Guess I won't need that 30 day return window!!

Stopped working
I used it a few times , set it aside for a while, took it out to use again , not working. Charged it overnight, I press the button nothing. What a big waste of money!

Has a battery problem (Which I think I have figured out!)
If your battery doesn’t work, scroll down to see my fix.But if you haven’t already purchased this, DON’T! It has a battery problem as many of the reviews have noted. Until Tivic fixes this, this machine is not worth trying because it won’t even turn on. If they eventually do fix this, it might be worth it, as a drug free solution to sinus congestion sounds very appealing. But the time is not now.If you’ve already bought this and it’s passed the return window (like me), here is how to fix the stupid battery. Often my device won’t turn on, and when I plug it in it either turns steady green but doesn’t charge, or else it flashes orange and green and also won’t charge. The key is to plug it in and hold down the power button until it flashes green. The website says to hold it for 15 seconds but for me it was more like 30 seconds to up to 2 minutes. Hold it till the light turns green. Then unplug it, and plug it back in. You’ll know it works if it flashes green. If so, LEAVE IT to charge for 2-3 hours until it turns steady green. If it doesn’t flash green or doesn’t charge, repeat these steps till it does work. Sometimes I have to try these steps 5-6 times before the battery finally resets. It’s so frustrating but it’s such an expensive device I don’t want to just throw it away. I just fixed mine again today so this solution does work. I don’t know if it fixes my sinuses though, as the stupid device so rarely turns on when I need it. But here’s my fix! Good luck!

Was hopeful, but didn't work as well as I had hoped
I have chronic sinusitis. I bought this to try to find a non-medical approach to aid in drainage from my sinuses. Since it said that it has a full money back guarantee, I figured, I would give it a shot. I left it on my desk right next to my computer as a reminder and used it a few times each day. While initially I felt some relief, overall, the effect was short lived and with subsequent use I had less and less effectiveness, even when I increased the intensity level. The tingling on my skin started to become more and more irritating and I started to worry that I was damaging my skin to try and get sinus benefit. I do not use it much anymore and was hoping to return it, but despite the page saying full money back guarantee, there is no way to return via Amazon.
