Works well, but the mount is bad

Mostly good but lacking in photo radar locations in its GPS database
With this Whistler CR95 detector mounted on my dash, I drove thru at least 4 photo radar intersections in Scottsdale last Saturday afternoon. In each case, the free Waze app alerted me ½ mile in advance, both with a red alert on the phone screen, and a voice alert. The Whistler CR95 detector alerted me to only one of those locations. It was silent on the other three. What was lacking was the detector GPS database didn't have those locations ("photo radar" doesn't use radar anymore or it uses radar only after the vehicle trips an energized wire embedded in the roadbed). The detector worked very well in all other situations but I didn't purchase it to detect a cop on the side of the road with a radar gun. This scenario is typical in Southern Cal but I rarely see it in the Phoenix area. I did receive relatively few false alerts as I drove around the Phoenix metro area. I found the detector fairly easy to use and set up if you read the User Guide first. Nevertheless, I'm returning the radar detector to Amazon; it simply didn't serve the intended purpose of alerting me to photo radar and speed camera locations.

Not that bad
Not that bad.. it could be tweaked a little for the false alerts but it’s not many or that bad and can be a little slow or not pick up at all..but you get what you pay for.

Constantly goes off
Even if there's literally no one else around and I turn, its going off. I can bring driving from one city to another, and it's non stop going off. At an 8 or 9. Always

Inaccurate
I've read through the manual and watched a couple of videos on how to use the device. After a couple of drives, I noticed that the radar starts beeping way too late, by the time it beeps I can already visibly see the police. Additionally, I have noticed that it doesn't beep for older police vehicles most likely because of the X band. I understand that this is a lower budget scanner and I shouldn't expect much, but if it can't save me from one ticket then its not worth it.
