Clunky but working
Expensive and overpriced suspensions but did not notice that big of a difference on the first ride. I might have second thoughts of recommending this

No instructions included. Not an easy job. Satisfying results.
It’s unfortunate there isn’t any instructions included, because this is not a simple job. I had to watch 3rd hand YT videos for clues how to do this. There are a bunch of extra parts left over, probably so the kit works with many models, this adds to the confusion. One part you have to insert the provided longer brake cable and add additional cable housing, however, theres no additional cable housing included so i have to either buy a cable casing or go to a parts bike and take some. They claim all tools included, but theres no drill. I wouldn’t ever expect a drill to come with this, and yes i have a drill, but their ad may be deceiving to someone that doesn’t have a drill. When drilling the holes in the frame, the provided step drill bit goes up to 13mm, however it’s only required to drill the holes to the 11mm step. The 2 bolts that go thru these drilled holes will loosen themselves up with movement in the suspension, so i used locktite (not included) on them. The included 2 zip ties are easily broken so i used 4 of my own. When mounting the wheel, the axle wouldn’t fit into the housing. The gap was too small. I had to reuse the shims from the original scooter. (I could’ve also just filed the openings a little on each to make them work). I added heat shrink (not included) to the wire connections when adding in the wire extension for the brake light. I also have Monorim’s brake upgrade installed and this suspension kit worked perfectly with it. They include an improved version of the adapter plate, which i painted black to match the scooter about an hour before needing to install it, giving the paint time to dry. The provided longer brake cable is actually too long for my model, so i used my side cutters (not included) to shorten it a few inches.EDIT: Two side effects of this kit raising the back end up about 1/2”: #1: The kickstand is too short. They include a kickstand extender and 2 longer bolts, however my kickstand was already too short and i had already added an extension to it. This had me going to the hardware store and buying 2 longer bolts to be able to use both extension kits. Now my kickstand works again. #2: Raising the back end caused the steering dampener mod to start to rub, which meant i had to modify my bracket with the grinder (no cost). This summer is going to be a whole lot more comfortable with this upgrade. I am considering, in a couple months, taking this back apart and cutting off the excess frame that is no longer used. I’m also considering using clear silicone caulk to stick the brake wire to the inside of the suspension frame so it looks cleaner than using zip ties.
