A great, descriptive read
I really enjoyed this book. As always, the writing in Legacy of the Lost was so effortlessly descriptive, it was easy to picture the story in my head and the images have stayed with me for quite some time since. I devoured this book in a day and immediately downloaded the next one - to be honest, they've all blurred into one, because I read them all so quickly! The story and the characters are introduced at a pace that just made sense. I really enjoyed the interactions between the characters - I felt their interactions, their emotions. Again, hats off to Lindsey for the intense descriptions that don't feel overdone in the slightest. You can also tell that she has done her research - as a gamer, that was nice to see! None of it felt forced. It was just so nice to read a book that was purely enjoyable.Tomb raider crossed with Hades and Persephone crossed with Atlantis? Yes please. And yes, it did deliver.

Interesting mix of concepts
An unusual combination of myth and science, with a dash of technology and a hefty bag of mystery and conspiracy. Characters have room to grow and develop. A solid series opener.
