Quick, download this book! I bought mine two days ago. For $24, anyone interested at all in commercial real estate investment at any level will find it a terrific reference tool. There’s lots of basic investment info. But if you’ve ever thought about “group” or “syndicated” investments, start with Chapter 2, “Do you want to be in the syndication business?” Plain English. Pros and cons. You’ll know pretty quickly whether you want to ever be a group sponsor. And if you do, or if you at least want to consider investing in a syndicate, you’ll quickly learn about how this works. He covers the newest regulations and shows you step-by-step how to navigate them. I still haven’t become a group investor yet, but I’ve now done a lot of due diligence and whenever people talk about experts in this area, Gene Trowbridge is the name is at the top of everyone’s list. I’ve heard him speak and he’s absolutely amazing. Seriously, 24 bucks -- download the book!

Anyone looking to go into, or who already are doing group sponsorship (Syndication) to raise money for real estate investment, business opportunity, or other ventures would be well advised to read this book. The penalties for making mistakes in this business can be sever. The book explains very clearly the new SEC regulations & rules governing the sale of securities, exemptions, and the legal way to raise funds from investors and much more. I have been looking for this kind information for a long time without having to break the bank to learn from (in my opinion) over charged seminars. I highly recommend it for inexperienced as well as experienced group sponsors. I bought the second addition book about a year ago, and this third addition I bought the kindle version. Love it! I am more than happy with what I've learned and feel confident moving forward in my business.

A must for any syndication, sponsor and any real estate investor!!! I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about syndication.

Great Book

This book had lots of good detailed information, but I had to trudge through a lot of legal jargon to get to the real meat of the point. Could have been written more reader-friendly, but still educational nonetheless.

A general over view of syndication process.

Spent a bit too many pages on "if you are a real estate agent " not for me. Other wise good info.

Mr. Trowbridge has made a very complicated and detailed topic and restated it in layman's terms. I would recommend this book to investors that have a basic working knowledge of syndication but are looking for more meat and substance regarding syndication.
