Very nice fine china mugs

More for coffee than tea

First, may I say any errors in ordering were mine that is why I head with make sure. There is a good selection so when placing an order make sure to is what you want. The size you want. These are a little lower in their capacity than other mugs. Are not bone china which would be preferable otherwise they look good and I am satisfied although if I had stayed aware and made sure I could have made a better deal.

Under 1 week of use when filling mug with hot liquid, it poured out of the side of the mug from a small hairline crack (hardly visible). the other mug in the set (blue) is ok so far. Pity, but this went like my previous mugs the only difference being I had had them for more than 3 years. Would not in all honesty recommend. as to look at, both mugs seem ok.

My package was undamaged but when I opened it up , one beakers handle was broken. The second beaker was intact.

My main gripe is these are described as bone china and they're not. Actually quite thick. They were for me, a personal quirk that I like to drink tea from a fine -ie thin - bone china - mug and these do not come up to scratch. others less fussy might find them perfectly acceptable. Also one of them was broken in the box on arrival (handle in 4 pieces) but I an't be bothered to chase for a replacement.
