The Shrinky Dinks Book Paperback – August 1, 1999

Awesome book! I bought this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loved it. The book comes with a bunch of blank sheets to make your own designs. The book itself gives you a ton of great shrinky dink patterns and ideas. We used up all the sheets and ordered more. We used them during a couple of sleep overs and was a big hit. The other girl had never done shrinky dinks and was amazed. It is a great product for those who are good at drawing and are very creative and like to do their own thing. It was a good starting shrinky dink package. I highly recommend it as a gift.

We ordered this item for our 6 year old daughter, and she loves it!! It is just like when we were kids,but you get to design your own drawings. It does seem to work better with colored pencils rather then markers. The first few dinks my daughter did with crayola brand markers (NOT WASHABLE) and the ink kept rubbing off even after baking. If you want to use markers, Sharpie brand seem to work the best (We use them to outline the drawing.) I only wish that this book came with a small selection of accessories (ie: key loops, jewelry hooks, and thread), like some of the other Klutz activity books do.

Absolutely perfect! Exactly as a remember this nostalgic craft. The book was in mint condition and is easy to use. The directions are clear and it’s so much fun for the whole family! Totally recommend.

This book is pretty cool. Kind of old fashioned designs but my daughter loved it. I also made that little happy birthday for her using book designs. (Pictured) I made it wrong side up : (

We buy many of them for our camp and they are a very popular activity every year. Did them myself when I was a kid. I think the pre-printed ones are more popular overall. Make sure you have a single hole punch.

If your aren’t already familiar with shrinky dinks, then maybe this book would be useful. But if you have ever used shrinky dinks, then you really don’t need this book because you would be better off spending your money on a big pack of shrinky dink paper. You don’t really need this book because you can use anything (coloring books, children’s books, or basically any picture you want to trace) to help draw on your shrinky dink paper.

The book is filled with LOTS of pictures for tracing or as a guide for ideas..... Instructions are easy to follow and bake time is only 2 minutes !! Three kiddos were enjoying this so I purchased the extra supply pack.... Glad I did !We used this craft in conjunction with our previously purchased Klutz books, Capsters and Friendship Bracelets...... The kids were able to display their Shrinky Dinks in the Capsters and as charms on the bracelets they made !!Hours ( seriously, hours!! ) of crafting, creativity and fun for a 9, 11 and 12 year old!!!

Got this for Christmas for my little sister. I remember loving these when I was a kid, and they are just as cool as I remember! You can entertain children or get creative and make really cool jewelry and scrapbook stuff for adults. Only downside is I wish it came with more plastic sheets! Overall, love Shrinky Dinks!

For kids all ages! I remember having these as a child so bought them for my daughter (7) for xmas. She loved them and was copying pictures from the book as well as tracing over other pictures and loved watching them in the oven. My 2 sons who are 12 and 15 also managed to grab a page of the plastic each and have made key rings of their favourite bands/ football teams. Need to order more plastic sheets now! One of the most played with items this xmas!

Mainly pictures you can trace onto shrinkles sheets. Better to buy more shrinkles sheet and find pictures in books or on internet.

Looks like a good activity book, bit disapointed only getting 2 sheets of special shrinking paper, hoped for more as this wont last that long. But otherwise, my daughter should enjoy this at Christmas.

doesnt work with most markers, crayons or pencils... make sure u have sharpies before buying this!
