Wore my Mx518 out and was looking for something similar. Came across a Reddit post with some recommendations and this was one of them. Very light weight almost identical build and form factor of the Mx518. when shopping I only saw 1 dpi button and couldn't find and info on it. but the software is very easy to navigate and understand and the dpi settings are pretty much endless. you just click the button 1.2.3.4 times go from slow to fast according to your settings...comes with extra set of feet/Sliders as well. Very well packaged for the price point.

After months of using it I finally realized where my wrist pain was coming from. The mouse is too tall. I left the mouse somewhere for two weeks. In those two weeks I was using a cheap flat mouse. My wrist pain is almost all gone.

Sono passato da un razer ex v2 a questo è a parte la mancanza di tasti programmabili come il razer ex v2 nulla da che dire software della casa perfetto semplice minimale ma completo ottimo per organizzare il mouse e giostrare tutti i vari settaggi .mouse molto leggere appena 67g con una struttura aperta che lascia intravedere il dentro una piccola striscia led (che io tengo spenta per gusto personale) programmabile dal software proprietario.la tastiera è dotata del sensore PAW3370 della PixArt con risoluzione fino a 19000 DPI (o come direbbe un amico CPI) ottimo per qualsiasi gioco e sicurezza e affidabilità,consigliatissimo quando è in sconto scende anche di 10 euro forse qualcosa di piu

The Mountain Makalu 67 is my first foray into ‘ultralight’ gaming mice and is practically my endgame of mice despite several hurdles.The first two I had developed almost immediate faults. Both became unresponsive after a firmware upgrade and despite fast support from Mountain and a firmware reflash tool they could not be brought back. And to be honest, given it happened twice there was always the possibility of it being a hardware or software conflict on my pc.So why roll the dice a third time, well, for me the shape and size are almost perfect in hand and THE best fit I have had in a long long time having gone through a number of mice lately.It arrives well packaged, easy to open and presents itself well. Theres a nice note form the company and some additional skates.The mouse itself is solid, no creaks or cracks like my model D and it sports a paracord. Tech wise it has a pixart PAW3370 sensor which is arguably the best at the moment and even capable of 19000 dpi (activate ludicrous speed), 50M Omron Switches which are great and a short lift off distance. There are the two main buttons, two side thumb buttons and a dpi switcher. The DPI switcher has four small lights up top to indicate DPI level and they and the switch are encased inan RGB ring which looks great. All this in a 67g package achieved through the shell design with a ton of holes in it which look very pleasing.Out of the box its very capable and you can use it as is with the DPI presets. However to change these or the RGB or configure sensors etc then you need to grab their software. Its basic and prone to issue but they are quick to update and respond to issues. But yes it isn’t as polished as some of the big names.This is the companies first go at a mouse and quite frankly it casts shame over so many of the big names. It is the perfect size, shape and weight and the performance is immense. The mouse is a solid rock with no creaks or poor bits and it isa joy to use for gaming or productivity.For me, for now this is my endgame. Its truly a pleasure and I swear that since using it my accuracy and connection in game is vastly improved. My hand doesn’t hurt so much and I’ll probably buy a spare in case they ever go out of business.One final point, everyone is chirping on about wireless but to be honest between the quality and the amazing paracord not once have I felt constrained or even aware of the cord.

Als fan van gadgets, kwam ik deze muis tegen van het relatief nieuwe bedrijf "Mountain", en was ik meteen geinteresseerd.Mijn verwachtingen waren middelmatig, maar de prijs was leuk en mijn oude muis (Corsair Dark Pro RGB SE) was aan vervanging toe. Echter ben ik compleet verrast door de hoogstaande kwaliteit van deze muis!De verpakking was simpel, maar stevig - met een mooi magnetische sluiting.De muis zelf ligt heel fijn in de hand, en is lekker lichtgewicht.Het design van de muis oogt niet alleen erg mooi (los van de RGB, daar kom ik later op terug), maar is ook functioneel; de achterkant werkt als een luchtdoorlatend systeem, waardoor ik merk dat ik veel minder zweterige handjes heb aan het eind van een werkdag (of gaming sessie).De muisknoppen zelf zijn responsive over de hele lengte van de knop, dus weinig kans op frustrerende mis-clicks, en de DPI toggle button zit op de perfecte plek dat je hem nooit per ongeluk (mid-game bijvoorbeeld) zomaar zal indrukken.De precisie van de muis (19K DPI!) kan helemaal afgesteld worden naar eigen wens, standaard staan iets lagere waardes ingesteld, maar die zijn in hun software zelf super makkelijk aan te passen.Dan de software zelf - deze is heerlijk straight to the point (niet zoals bijv Razer)!Meerdere profielen kunnen bewaard worden, alle instellingen die je verwacht van een (high-end!) muis zijn aanwezig, en het mooiste is dat deze op de muis zelf opgeslagen worden. Je kan dus je muis ergens anders aansluiten, en hij werkt gewoon zoals je zelf ingesteld en voorkeur aan geeft dus.Kortom; een high-end muis, voor een mooie prijs naar mijn mening!

Moin zusammen,ich habe mir kürzlich die Mountain Makalu 67 zugelegt und muss sagen, dass ich von Anfang an begeistert von der Maus war und nach wie vor bin.Zur Ergonomie:Die Maus liegt bei mir im Palm Grip optimal in der Hand (Handgröße ca. L) und durch das geringe Gewicht (67 g, weshalb die Maus auch die 67 im Namen trägt) fliegt die Maus nur so über den Schreibtisch, lässt dabei aber trotzdem eine sehr präzise Steuerung zu. Wenn man noch größere Hände hat, kann die Maus sicherlich auch "entspannt" im Claw Grip genutzt werden.Zur Verarbeitung:Die Maus ist sehr solide verarbeitet, bei meinem Modell knarzt oder wackelt nichts. Das Ripcage Design ist angenehm (keine scharfen Kanten) und gibt mir zusätzlich ein gutes Gripgefühl. Das Kabel ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben und sehr flexibel. Alle Tasten haben sehr gute Druckpunkte und weisen ein sehr angenehmes Klickgefühl auf.Zur Software:Ich habe die Software des Herstellers installiert (sie nennt sich Base Camp), um die Maus nach meinen Wünschen zu konfigurieren. Darin kann man Profile erstellen, in welchen man wiederum die einzelnen Funktionen der Maus einstellen kann (also bspw. die Beleuchtung, Tastenbelegung etc.). Das geht sehr intuitiv von der Hand und die Profile werden auf dem internen Speicher der Maus (bis zu 5 Profile können dort hinterlegt werden) gespeichert. Wenn man dann für alle Profile eine Taste zum Wechseln der Profile konfiguriert, kann man die Software beenden und trotzdem zwischen den Profilen wechseln.Mein Fazit:Ein wirklich gelungenes Erstwerk des Herstellers Mountain. Ich konnte bisher keine negativen Punkte ausmachen und bin wirklich vollends zufrieden mit der Mountain Makalu 67. Auch den Preis finde ich für die gebotene Leistung angemessen, sodass für mich auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich die Maus im Langzeittest schlägt, vergebe bis dahin aber verdiente 5 *****.MfG
