Nylabone Dura Chew Giant Chicken Flavored Bone Dog Chew Toy, Large/Giant - Up to 50 lbs. (NG104P)

My dogs love this. I purchased this one and the small one for my two dogs which are a 70kg Dogue de Bordeaux & 12kg Frenchie & both of them really enjoy having a good chew on this, the small one is VERY small & had to send it back but the company were amazing with the returns & refunded with no problems. As with all Nylabones, the two concerns I have is that it gets dirty quite quickly but the babies toys are put in a bowl of hot water with sterilising fluid so at least I know it’s sterile even if it still looks a little dirty. Secondly, the chew can get quite sharp & cause gum bleeding in addition to the sharp bits can come off & a few times my dogs have had to hack the bit of plastic. I do routinely try and cut the sharp bits down but it’s quite difficult. Despite this my dogs really enjoy these & they do provide a comfort outlet. I would just say to check it regularly & watch that your dog doesn’t become compulsive with it. Would purchase again, especially after the smooth returns/refund procedure.

Please don’t buy these.I have four Staffordshire Bull Terriers, all of which destroy their chews within 5 mins because of their strong teeth. I bought the Nylabone, in the hope that they would last longer than the usual toys.If I was awarding stars, the Nylabone would get 5 as it’s lasted several months but, two of my dogs snapped their back teeth on the bone and required surgery.

These are great, my dogs love there’s and they last well too.Couldn’t tell you if it tastes like chicken yet as I’ve not had the chance to taste it yet as my dogs are constantly chewing it.Will update once tasted :-).....

I bought my dog one in 2019 & it's still in excellent shape & condition to say she chews it a lot.My parents have just rescued a 6 year old golden retriever who likes to chew an awful lot so I sent her one of these to get her chops around to save her destroying so many of her softer toys, she's even destroyed her rubber toys that are meant to be indestructible for dogs. This has lasted for her. So far so good!The only thing I would advise is to not leave your dog chewing this without your supervision. It could end up grounding your dog's teeth down? I'm not sure the material it's made of would allow this to occur, I'd just be overly cautious...

My adult cocker looked at me worried when I offered it. Took it obediently and then gently put it down on the floor and ignored it.His comment:"Okayyy hooman, I am clever boi. I take hard no taste plastic ... I put down here. Now gib me treat for good boi?"My teetching cocker puppy gave it a sniff and went back to gnawing the cardboard it came in. Her comment: "Gngnfngngngndnggg. Cardboaaaaard."The product is good quality although the flavour is obviously "super sonic" so not within the range of human smell or taste. (yep when my doggos turned noses up at it, I gnawed on it a bit to see if it tastes of anything. Tasteless.)I guess its a gamble - if your dog likes it, score! But I won't be buying Nylabone again.
