Cookware 6-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Oval Dutch Oven Cooking Dish with Skillet Lid, Teal

This oven rocks. It's my favorite new kitchen tool. Zelancio has built a really great product that I can honestly say rivals the Le Crouset ovens at 1/5 of the price. Every detail suggests how well-made this oven is. Even the bolt fastening the lid handle is high quality. I'm thrilled I didn't spend $400 on a Le Crouset because this oven has far surpassed my expectations. It's lightweight (for cast iron), cleans easily, cooks evenly, makes crunchy bread and looks great. Some reviews suggest that the enamel chips easily, my advice to those people is, stop being so rough on your cookware! Always heat your cookware slowly, and let it cool properly before washing. Avoid using metal or other abrasive cooking utensils, as they may scratch the cooking surfaces. It all seems like common sense but yet there are still people who can't figure out how to properly use high-end cookware! Also, I own a Zelancio 10 inch enameled cast iron skillet and while it is a decent pan, this enameled oven far surpasses the skillet's quality.

I am in love with this beautiful Dutch Oven! I’ve used it twice since recently buying. It browned everything evenly and the clean up was great! You can spend crazy money on something like this, I suppose. If you’re into really big names maybe you won’t be happy with this product. This pot is made just as well as my Le Creuset that was a gift since I would never pay so much for one pan and cover. Go with this one if you’re on a budget and know that great cooking isn’t about brand names, it’s about cooking with great ingredients and tools.

This is a beautiful item--the color is great. Unfortunately, it slipped out of my hand (very heavy) and tapped the sink (also ceramic) and chipped the pan. I'll have to keep an eye on it so it doesn't rust. But I loved cooking with it--first recipe was chicken chili and the stovetop, so no oven experience yet. And cleanup was a breeze.

I’m new to sourdough bread making and after reading many recipes, I realized that I needed a sturdy Dutch oven to produce the kind of bread loaves I wanted. I searched in stores, and online, but the really quality Dutch oven‘s were way too expensive for me. I ordered this Dutch oven because I could afford it, and it had decent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and heavy this Dutch oven is. I thought that for the price it might be very flimsy. I’ve made several loaves of sourdough using it and I am thrilled with the quality of the bread it bakes! The one drawback is that it is very heavy, which isn’t a problem for me but my wife has difficulty lifting it! (Guess that’s what I’m for!)

I like the color which prompted me to do investigate my using it. It works for my Beef Stroganoff perfectly and I’m not into cooking but t makes the right amount and without splashing when I brown onions and beef. I will use it for making spaghetti, soups and i’ll Get my use out of it. The color caught my eye and I use it.

Yes a perfect bread baker! Hubby makes artisian sourdough bread and bakes them in cast iron dutch oven. And the color is so pretty I can keep it out on display.

Easy to clean Value for money Giftable

This was wonderful the first year. Now it is stained and impossible to clean. The enamel is worn off. Very sorry I bought it.
