Work OK.
I needed some fairly shallow jacks for a project in a small project box and these do the job. The only thing I don't like is the center pin isn't the split type but rather a solid pin so plugs with slightly wider center holes won't work well with them, you have to find plugs that are the right fit. But for the money they're OK.

Well made DC jack at a good price
These are reasonably well made panel mount DC input jacks. They will fit into a panel up to 3mm thick. The dimensions provided by the seller are accurate so planning the correct hole size is easy. As other reviewers have mentioned a 5.5x2.1mm plug fits a little tighter than I'm used to but makes very good electrical contact. I'm OK with it.The inside depth of the jack is 9mm so it's best to choose a plug with a barrel around 10mm in length if you don't like the plug barrel hanging out. A lot of the 5.5x2.1mm plugs on Amazon have a 13.5mm barrel which leaves around 4.5mm of the barrel exposed when fully seated. That doesn't bother me because I bought these for enclosures that don't have a lot of space.I had no problem getting the lugs to accept Kester 44 solder using a Hakko FX888D soldering station set at 400 DegC (750 DegF). Between 1 and 1.5 seconds was all it took. There was no discoloration or deformation of the plastic after soldering. The center conductor terminal remained tight. The plastic body feels very solid to me. I was careful not to overtighten the supplied hex nut and got a good firm fit. A lock washer would have been nice to have even if it reduced the maximum panel thickness a little.I was disappointed that one of the jacks I received was broken due to a manufacturing defect (see photos). But it wasn't worth returning the entire shipment for one jack. There were still plenty enough to work with. Just be sure to factor that in if you are working on a project requiring a lot of DC input jacks.Overall these are good parts at a great price. They aren't built to the standards of a name brand part. They are built for value.

Small in size, big on value!
Tested all 12 of these bad boys and they're ready for action. But hey, don't go Hulk on tightening – those threads are plastic! A snug fit will do. And if you're in for the long haul, a dab of glue will seal the deal.

Just right
They are awesome

Great solid and snug fit!
These worked way better than I thought they would. I didn't think the project I was working on had a chassis ground, so I got this model to isolate the ground just in case. These fit perfectly and have an excellent snug fit with no loss in connection when pulling on the plug from any direction. Easy to tin and solder. I'll be purchasing these again!

Seems like good quality, but most of the dimensions are a lie
Picked these female panel mount connectors due to their small size, but sadly all the dimensions are a bit bigger than the diagram indicates. Specifically the front diameter of the jack (the part in front of the panel) is really 10.3mm and the required hole isn't 6.5mm but closer to 8mm as it's really an M8 male threaded part and the thickest part is 7.9mm diameter.Going to have to redesign the 3D printed part so this will really fit and not 100% sure I'll still be able to use this connector anymore as it may be too large for my needs.Overall, the quality seems pretty good so if the slightly larger size meets your needs then I see no reason not to give these ago.

Compact and reliable
I was needing power inlets that were compact in order to fit into a project without much depth, and these do the job well. The seem well made and soldered easily. It was necessary in my case to solder before fitting into a panel, and getting the nut over the soldered connections was then tricky, but bending the lugs slightly was possible without breakage and solved the issue.

Solidly made
I feel better putting 5 (or more) amps through these connectors than the other type of commonly available chassis mount female 2.1/5.5 mm connector. These connectors use thicker gauge metal for the contacts. They also require a smaller mounting hole. The only possible disadvantage is that these guys don't have a third terminal that disconnects when a mating connector is inserted. (Like the old style earphone jack that would automatically disconnect the speaker.) But I've never needed this feature so these connectors are just fine for my purposes.

Terrific Value
I only needed two of these, to connect a DC control voltage from a PID controller to a Solid State Relay, via a double male patch-cord. These were inexpensive and now I have spares. Note that they are plastic. This has good and bad points; the good is that they are isolated from the chassis, so can be used without grounding to the metal chassis. This is sometimes needed to avoid stray currents from having multiple ground points. On the other hand, being plastic the threads could strip; that said, mine did not strip. The lugs are small and have a little hole to take a wire; they must be pre-tinned, as they took solder very readily.

Works a treat
Fast and efficient as always, the jack plugs are worth the money 💰

Works well - just want to make a note
Just a heads up, these are inside negative, outside positive (if you follow the lead length conventions). This is opposite of most things in North America. I'm glad I checked before I soldered it! It's easy enough to flip around the wires.Otherwise a great product, the plastic threads worked well for me, didn't strip like I saw in some other reviews.
