This set is fantastic. It is immediately obvious how good of a quality this is by how heavy and thick the porcelain is on the plates. You get a set of four dinner plates, small plates and bowls which are a standard size to have enough capacity for most meals. They wash off really well and they appeared to be very durable as they are quite thick which I like. I feel they look quite stylish and even though they are playing they give a very smart feeling to the dinner table. Really enjoy these. They only downside is the cost as they are rather expensive and they took quite a while to arrive.

The translucent white pattern works well for both informal luncheons and more formal dinners. I stacked them without a hitch, conserving valuable cabinet space.The ability to put them in the microwave and dishwasher has made dinners more easy, especially on busy weekdays. As I grew my tableware collection, the compatibility of this set with other pieces from the Chalk collection was the icing on the cake.It's worth mentioning that the 10-year warranty adds an added degree of security.This dining set is made of porcelain and appears to be of great quality. I ordered these because I love gorgeous dishes, but I also tend to be a bit of a gourmet cook when company comes over (or for special date nights at home). I think the food should be the showstopper, and not the dishes.For that reason, I wanted some nice but simple dishes I could use when we have company over for a nice dinner. These dishes definitely delivered.These dishes have a very basic design, but they are excellent quality. They are exceptionally well made with a nice weight to them. They seem very sturdy yet have a delicate elegance at the same time. I could tell when I picked one up that they truly are fine china. They will set a very nice table, and work well with my more detailed and decorative pieces. These dishes have married simple elegance to high quality.I am very happy with the quality and design of these dishes. I think they would make a fabulous gift. These are definitely worth keeping in mind for the holidays, or as a wedding or housewarming gift.

I am so sorry to the supplier, but the pics I took of these items on the last review that was rejected by Amazon Vine will now not upload. I showed all three items stacked beautifully on my John Lewis black and grey slate mats on our oak dining room table, so the plates looked stunning, which they are. I simply do not have the time to re-do photos as well as the review, unpacking the plates was very time consuming ... because someone at Vine didn't like me mentioning the great way you pack these stunning plates for transit as well as details of the plates, and seven pics!Please speak to Vine if you are unhappy about this. I would have loved to simply post the one pic of the plates, instead of the unboxing couple I had, but to no avail.Whoever is monitoring the reviews is being very heavy handed with the failure rate on reviews in my honest opinion. It is relevant to talk about packaging when you have China being sent in the post!!!!!!I loved these plates, but honestly when this happens all too regularly you can get quite dis-heartened with the effort you put in to tell the rest of the Amazon Community about an item, especially when you post a long and detailed review.Tried a last time, they will not allow the pic to go on!They will probably fail this review too, such a pity, I will review with one word next time!

Pedí esto porque me encanta la comida gourmet, pero también soy un poco cocinero gourmet cuando tengo compañía (o una cita nocturna especial en casa). Creo que la atención debería centrarse en la comida, no en la cocina. Por eso quería servir un plato divertido pero sencillo cuando cenáramos juntos. Por supuesto, estas comidas se entregan a domicilio. Este cartel tiene un diseño muy sencillo, pero de muy alta calidad. Están muy bien hechos con un buen peso. Es extremadamente resistente pero también tiene una sutil elegancia. Después de comprar uno, me di cuenta de que era una cerámica realmente excelente. Hacen una mesa muy bonita y combinan bien con mis piezas decorativas y detalladas. Este plato combina elegancia sencilla y alta calidad. Estoy muy satisfecho con la calidad y el diseño de este letrero. Creo que serían un gran regalo.
