OtterBox Pixel 6 Pro Defender Series Case - BLACK, rugged & durable, with port protection, includes holster clip kickstand

I had always swore I'd never have an "OtterBox" but after cracking the screen on my pixel 6 pro & having to make an insurance claim, bla, bla, bla, I wanted some protection. I've had the poetic guardian which lets dirt in under the case scratching the phones sides & backside. I don't wear white new balance shoes with a polo & jean shorts so although very nice , the holder isn't for me. I very much love this case, it has stood up to several drops with no damage & doesn't seem to let anything get under the case. It's a big case but not overly big & bulky. I really like the look & style. Most importantly this case protects the phone better than any other case I've tried & I've tried a lot. At least 9 other cases. OtterBox is the go-to from here on out. Fits just right in the hand, no problem holding & it's looks great, made out of what seems to be high quality, durable material. Very happy with this, highly recommend

First off, this case is amazing. It's sturdy, it's very grippy, it fits like a glove. If it's protection you want, this case has it in leaps and bounds. I especially like that this case just sticks to everything. It never slides off anything. It took a moment to figure out how to put the case on - a Youtube search very quickly gave me a great visual tutorial. Once you know how, the case goes on easily and comes off easily. The case adds significant size to an already big phone. With the case on, the phone does not fit into my car's wireless phone charge tray, and it's too big to fit in my pockets or in my smaller purses. Another thing to watch out for: Not all wireless chargers will work with this case. Some work, others sorta-work (charging much slower) and some flat out won't work. Not a huge surprise considering the thickness of the case, but definitely something to look out for. Tested with: Insignia (Best Buy brand) - doesn't work. Starts, then cuts out and stops. Works fine without case or with the clear Otterbox case Belkin 15W - works, but slooooow Pixel Stand v2 - works if placed carefully Desk lamp with a built-in 10W Qi charge pad - Doesn't work, but works fine without case or with the clear Otterbox case

It's the only case to offer any real protection on the pixel 6, I find these cases horribly chunky, and all the chunk and it's still missing a soft inner layer, so impacts are imparted onto the plastic and that's pressing directly on your device, better than nothing but should be better considering the money, they only need put a few foam pads around the edge. Also there's a lip around the edge, causes some issues with floating buttons etc as the pixel has a curved screen edge my finger cannot reach with the case installed. And yup the blue picks up and shows all the dirt. Easy to clean with soap and water but it is very visible when it's there. ..also also seems as it's so expensive,, the rubber molding on the bottom is kinda crap, sharp edges dig into fingers, the port cover no longer breaks off like the iPhone version of this case, but it's so chunky it puts unsafe pressure on your charger plug and causes the front rubber to droop slightly above the port. Redesign the hinge, stop being cheap.

I just installed this on my Pixel 6 Pro. It's sturdy and the case actually comes up high enough to give those pesky curved glass edges some pretty good protection. It's a bulky case on an already big phone, but I wanted the best protection for my phone. I'm going to install a Whitestone Dome screen protector as soon as it arrives. I know nothing is "bullet proof when it comes to protecting these devices, but I think the Otter Box Defender with the WSD screen protector is a great combo. Otter Box makes great products and has a fantastic warranty. I've used the warranty in the past, and it's great. Amazon had a great price on the Black version of this case and the shipping was insanely fast, as usual.

The picture is what it looks like now. I bought this in early 2022 and this picture is the result of how much it has defended my Pixel phone after being dropped, probably a hundred times (or more) & being thrown through a skoolie windshield of a major accident (along with me.) Because of nerve damage from the accident I constantly drop my phone, have dropped it in a tiny bit of water (More than a few times ) and quickly wiping off the water, light camping & finally surviving the storm that came from Hurricane Helene. My phone survived. My car did not. The defender is a complete and utter mess! It is broken, dusty, stained, there's scratches and cracks in the screen protector, the push in buttons on the side are almost not existent AND it still works and still protecting my phone. I took off the defender today because I want to buy a new one. Other than dust and it needing a good cleaning - My phone is still in great condition. They should ask me to mail this for their marketing material to show how well made their product is.... 😁. Can I get a free one in exchange?

Everytime I look for a new phone case, this OtterBox has always been such an awesome case. I've had other phone cases but they don't protect my phone as well as the OtterBox. I like that the OtterBox edges rise above the phone screen, which is what I imagine everybody dreads to get damaged, I have never had any problems with my screen cracking and I have dropped my phone quite a bit. Such a fantastic phone case, I'll never get any other phone case.

Not a hard product to review, the quality is amazing as i expected. Only brand I trust to make a durable, appealing case.

This product is great. The level of phone protection is amazing and the quality of materials is top notch. While the case makes the phone substantially bigger the rubber and the ergonomics make the handling easy. The only downside is the price which is hefty for a smartphone case, but I believe the way it seems to protect the phone makes it worth every penny.

Really sturdy and feels like it can take one hell of a drop
