Great taste and price
I've purchased the Canter capsules several times. They are pretty good for the price and a nice alternative to Nespresso brand. I've had pretty good luck with them fitting and working well in my CitiZ&Milk machine overall. Unfortunately, the last purchase I made the capsules didn't work as well. The flow was slow and restricted and caused more than the usual amount of water to leak into the drip tray, hopefully this was fluke. I'll most likely purchase them again to see if they work better. I've tried both Canter and Pace. Both tasted really good.Update: I will no longer purchase these pods, the quality has gone downhill. I purchased another 100 pods of Canter and they all did not work well in my machine. The water flow was restricted and there were coffee grounds in my cup. It was hard to close the capsule latch when inserting a new pod, and they just don't taste as good as they previously were. I also noticed they've increased the prices. It's unfortunate, because I would have been a loyal customer. I guess I'm off to find something better.

Tastes like the more expensive variety but cheaper than Keurig K-cups
Ever since I got into the whole Nespresso coffee maker craze, I wondered if the coffee pods that I was buying was worth the price they were charging for them. The least expensive ones that I found were sold by Target under their own brand, Archer Farms for $4.99 a box of 10. The taste was okay but they weren't very strong. While looking over the choices that Amazon has for coffee pods, I found this brand, Equine Coffee Pods, consisting of 10 boxes of 10 pods each for a price of $25. In other words, each of the pods cost $.25 which Is far less than anything else available.Of course, the question is "Are these any good?" The answer is a resounding "Yes." They have a smoky chocolate flavor to them and given how inexpensive they are, what I have been doing is first using one pod to make a double espresso and then in the same cup using other pod to make a single espresso. The combination gives me a nice strong cup of coffee for $.50 which is far less than what I would have paid if I was using my Keurig coffeemaker instead (since a box of 12 K cups typically costs around $10 making each one cost about 82 cents). As a comparison, I tried the Nespresso Kazaar brand that everybody raved about. Each of those pods cost about $.76 apiece. To be honest, while the Kaazar does taste good, it really isn't worth paying $.50 more for each of those pods as compared to each Equine coffee pod. Another advantage is not having to worry about constantly buying coffee pods since you're getting 100 pods at a time. Even if you use two of them per cup as I do, It is still cheaper than any other espresso brand you can buy with the exception of Target's own brand. The flavor is definitely worth it and I highly recommend buying these at your first opportunity..

Solid. Incredible Value
These pods are an incredible value. I got the organic Arabica (Gallop) and the flavor is smooth and texture is fairly rich. Crema is also solid but not spectacular. It's NOT as heavenly as my favorite Nespresso pod (Stockholm Fortissio Lungo) but they're a third the price and definitely not a third the quality. It's a great daily driver for frugal folks - not a home run but darn solid. I'll save the Stockholm pods for guests and happily drink these every day. I have a machine at work (university prof) so it's also a cheap way to give a student who's having a bad day a decent cup of coffee while they blow off some steam about their finals. The pod on this variety is constructed with the same aluminum backing that is found on the front of your name brand Nespresso pod so there's no chance of of damaging the machine and you don't have to pre-drill a hole to get through a hard plastic shell like some of the other brands I researched. They've worked flawlessly every time in my Delonghi Essenza machine. Not sure about the recyclability of these pods (they claim to be recyclable, but it might be more trouble than it's worth to prep them for the bin) but at least they're organic so you can feel a little better about the environmental impact. All in all .27 for a solid cup of organic coffee is way better for the environment and your pocketbook than getting into a car to go to massive multinational chain that destroys local businesses. Which reminds me, I didn't get the cups and swizzle sticks, which is just fine by me. Less waste!

Perfect Crema, Unbelievable flavor, and good price
So far, it is my second time ordering Equine Coffee; Pace Dark Roast. As a Chef, and also as a person who knows coffee, this; this Arabica Dark Roast, has been one of the best compared to any of the original Nespresso pods I have had.For the first time, it was a little hard for me to order this coffee brand, as I didn't know this brand. I did not know what am I going to receive! Anyways, I order it, and it was one of the best espressos I have ever experienced. It has been better than what I was expecting, and most definitely better than any Nespresso Brand PODs. The only problem I have with them is; they are not nitrogen filled properly, as you see from the photo, they are not as inflated as the Nespresso Brand, and if they get old, they might the freshness be compromised. Otherwise, I can bravely say; by far it is the best espresso you could ever have. Buy it and don't think twice.

No longer works perfect in my nespresso.
The media could not be loaded. [Updated review from June 2023]I receive these monthly from S&S; however, they changed their pod designs and no longer work well. As you can see, espresso just drips out. Very disappointed that they tried to fix what ain't broken. Please go back to old design. I will need to find a new product until then.[Original review]After getting tired of paying over a dollar a capsule from nespresso brand, I've tried dozens of other "compatible" brands. Whether plastic or aluminum capsules, I ran into issues with the machine drawing the espresso. Also, the quality of the coffee itself was lacking. These pods are terrific. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either.. But quality was NOT lacking. These work great. Taste great. And have been on my subscribe and save for almost a year now. Never going back.
