Best hoses on the market!
If you are the occasional user or a 1 and done user, why would you pay for this type quality! If you are considering getting into the hvac business or you are considering checking your family and close friends systems, then why wouldn’t you pay the extra? The low loss fittings are awesome and the shutoff’s are solid. Yellowjacket didn’t skimp so if you are serious about hvac work, why would you?

Counterfeit!!!
I bought this hose set about seven months ago and just kept it as a spare. Didn’t even use it until last week when I was charging a 3-ton AC system. As soon as I started using it, it started leaking badly at the ball valve — ended up burning my thumb from the refrigerant. Super frustrating. I’ve always trusted Yellow Jacket, so this really caught me off guard. When I got home, I took the valve apart and saw the O-ring was out of place. I also noticed there’s no Yellow Jacket logo anywhere on the hoses, which makes me think this is a fake.
