Pik-Stik/Reid Industries (v) Reacher Pik-Stik 26 Classic

The item is built cheaper than a wet paper bag. I can pick up at best 1 OZ objects. I repeat do not buy. It broke on first attempt. It’s built to last one job and throw away. Call it the Disposal stick, it’s not a pickup stick! Aweful. I don’t write reviews this was just that bad! 1 star for fast delivery. 0 stars for item.

This is my first choice among the many different reach extenders in stores-- often sold in aquarium stores for working in deep aquaria and in pharmacies for older folks that can't bend or climb ladders as well as in the past.These are sturdy, rust proof, do a good job of grabbing flat objects within the jaw pad and round or irregular objects inside the jaws.You can even get suction cup ends to substitute for the pads that come on the device but you aren't likely to find suction cups helpful.Even if you are neither an aquarist nor septuagenarian, you will on occasion find the PikStik handy -- e.g., reaching that renegade sock that crawled behind the clothes dryer.

The pick stick I received was not the one advertised. I've used and recommended Pik Stick for many years and love them. I think they are the best reachers made. This was not the aluminum PIK Stik advertised. This was a yellow plastic piece of junk. The head did not rotate, the handle was different, and much cheaper, the tips were not well attached and one was missing.. It did look like the picture by this panel, and did not match the advertising - none of the three pictures or any of the descriptions . This picture shows the yellow pice of junk they sent although the one I got was missing a tip. There was a Pik Stik brand on it . Was the Pik Stick company sold? This is incredibly inferior to any product I've seen from them in the past. How do I get the reacher described?

Have used this brand for years but when this one came it has changed. It is not sturdy and I can see it breaking easily. It does not look like the picture. The long shaft is not round but rectangular.

this is a very strudy pikstik, been disabled for over 10 years and if you are like me you must have a reacher close by. not only is it strudy it is now my go to reacher when i want to pick up coins and other hard to grab items that fall on the floor. when i save up, this is the one item i will be reordering. only draw back is the shipping and handling price, but besides that it is a winner.

The Original Plastic PikStik CLASSIC'S are for me still the best of the reach tools.... I don't like the Aluminum version it doesn't grip well but these classics are Great , I have at least 6 spread out in different areas of the house, once in a while ill push them past their limits and break a piece but they have replacement parts and in reality they are priced cheap enough that I usually just buy a new one.

I have been using Pik Stik products for years and was so disappointed in this one. It just did not hold up at all.The tip broke off after only about 2 weeks (too long to return it). I do not use it for very heavy things, so I did not misuse it.

This " grabber " is sturdy and very useful, much more so than the longer one I ordered. I use it inside and out , around the garden and for picking up the many objects I invariably drop all over the place. i.e. behind the sofa, under the bed and so forth. It's also good for reaching spices et al in upper kitchen cabinets.

poor quality poor grip, completely covered with dust obviously not ordered very often. sent back!

This product turned up dirty, its either been used or in poor storage.
