Work great for what we use them for
Good value for the money, easy to use. I am an artist and I use these when I am making mosaics. They make it easy to get between the pieces and get out the glue that I don’t want there. My husband uses them to clean the flesh off of deer skulls that are used in Western Mounts. We love that they can be used for dual purpose and were economically priced.

Durable (and Sharp!), Although They Are Not Ideal Dental Cleaning Instruments
The tools in this kit may be useful for specific, one-off needs, such as removing a popcorn kernel stuck between the teeth, but I honestly would not recommend it for any sort of routine at-home cleaning unless you want to risk injuring yourself. Trying to perform regular, daily cleaning of your teeth with these tools would be like trying to wash your dishes using a hammer and a saw — it would be dangerous and not very effective.Let me make clear that (proper/daily) brushing and flossing are sufficient to remove at least 99% of plaque and food debris from the teeth at home. A professional dental cleaning is intended to take care of the things that you can't clean with a toothbrush and floss, namely tartar buildup (mineral deposits on the teeth that harbor bacteria). However, the tools in this kit do not include any of the primary tools that a dentist or hygienist would use to clean your teeth. To remove tartar (also known as "calculus") from the teeth, a dental professional would typically use an instrument called a scaler or a curette, but this kit does not contain either one of those. Here's what this kit contains:(See my attached photo as well, which has a Sharpie marker for size reference.)Tool #1: PickThis is the tool with two sharp/pointy ends that are bent like hooks: one end has a semi-circular curve and the other one has two angular bends to it. The points on both ends are very sharp, like needles. This tool *resembles* the professional dental tool called an explorer, but it's not quite the same.An actual dental explorer is NOT intended for cleaning the teeth, but rather for checking the teeth for rough spots, areas of decay, gaps between fillings and teeth, etc. It's a "feeler," but not so much a "doer." The metal on each end of an actual explorer is thin enough to make it easy for the dentist to feel when the sharp point catches on something, such as the rough edge of a broken filling. However, this tool (the "pick") is much thicker and more rigid than a typical dental explorer. This means it's not as good if you're trying to carefully feel for small holes/rough spots/gaps. This tool might end up prying off part of a filling instead of just feeling the edges of it. It's also not particularly good at removing tartar/calculus buildup, as it doesn't have any sharp edges on its sides. If you try using this to remove tartar, it's likely that the tool will slip and jab you in the gums, which will be very painful and possibly bloody. And the tartar will still be stuck to your tooth.Tool #2: ChiselEach end of this tool has a sharp edge, one that's perpendicular to the long axis of the tool, and one that's at an angle. This tool is SORT OF like a real dental scaler (used for removing tartar), except that there is an important difference. A real dental scaler is shaped so that the user PULLS the instrument to remove tartar. The sharp edge of a dental scaler is facing away from the gums, so if it slips, the tool will generally not cut the patient. However, this chisel tool is the opposite: You have to PUSH with it to remove tartar. This has the potential to be quite dangerous if you are using it to remove tartar. If the chisel slips or moves unexpectedly (such as when you finally pry off a piece of tartar), you will probably end up jabbing your gums. Ouch!Tool #3: SpoonEach end of this tool has a small round spoon-type shape. It's mildly sharp, but not as sharp as the other two instruments in this kit. This resembles the professional dental instrument called a spoon excavator, which is used to remove decayed tooth material from a cavity before the dentist places a filling/crown. 99.9% of people won't be doing that sort of procedure at home. The ends of this tool are somewhat dull (not sharp) compared to a real spoon excavator. Thus, this tool isn't really effective at removing most tartar. The danger of a dull tool like this is that people will press harder with it to try to remove something, and then it will slip and injure them. In other words, it's not sharp enough to remove tartar, but it's still sharp enough to hurt your gums/tongue/cheeks/etc.

Surgical Quality!
These are extremely well made and you can definitely tell a difference between them and their competition. I'm super surprised they are able to offer such quality at this price point! Thank you 🙏

Good product
Great product came with several different tools for scaling, flossing, checking for cavities, and other cleaning purposes. Was a RDA and the quality is as good as what a dentist would carry in the office. Very sturdy and great for deep cleaning plaque build up. Highly recommend. Products are extremely sharp and can cause damage to gums of you don't know what you are doing.

Thick instruments
I like that this is a small set and does not include a dental mirror that I would not be using. The instead feel strong. They are somewhat thick and are more difficult to get in between my teeth.

Cleaning dogs teeth
My poor dog has a lot of plaque buildup and I wanted to take him to the vet to get his teeth cleaned, but it cost about $200-$400 for his teeth to get cleaned plus them putting him to sleep using anesthesia. That scares me just putting any dog to sleep because, if nobody knew this, one in 2,000 healthy dogs die under anesthesia a year! So I didn’t want to risk my pups life just to get his teeth cleaned. I found this tool and the scraper works SOOO WELL! His teeth are all plaque free now and it didn’t seem to bother him at all removing it either. :)

Perfect
These 3 tools are solid. As others have stated, the sharp ends are SUPER sharp. While that is a good thing and expected, it's easy to get careless and stick your gums.I'd highly recommend these tools for some dental self cleaning. The one with sharp ends could also be great for some other uses around the house. Again, solid construction.
