The cover itself feels thicker and stronger than the restof it.The thickness of the file slots inside, seem a little more on thethin side when compared to the rest of it.+ It comes with a few different types of labels from Blank to Lettersand colored to keep your files together and organized.+ The Cover has a nice 3D type pattern to it. It looks nice and add fora better grip.⦁➽ Dislikes / Issues:+ The Snap Strap: This part of the expanding file seems to be a weakpoint and I'm not to sure it will stand up to a lot of opening & closingover time.➽ + Price at Time of Review: > $6.99 < each✪➽ OVER-ALL: This appears to be a decent expanding file folder, except for the SnapStrap, Otherwise it works just fine. I have some place to put my importantpapers, Etc. To make it last longer I think I'll for the 6 months and thenfile it away, instead of reusing it again. They aren't that pricey so buyinganother one or two each year, will work fine for my needs.I would Recommend. Many years ago I learned the secret of using a document scanner to convert nearly every piece of page I handle (like bills, receipts, correspondence, etc) to digital form. Before that I would hold on to them for years and then finally have to pay to have thousands of pieces of paper shredded. Now I shred them as soon as I scan them. But not everything can be shredded, there are certain documents that I have to keep the original, so a good filing system is important to me.FINDING FOLDERSDid you ever go to the office supply store and shop for pocketed file folders? They are almost all made of paper and ridiculously expensive. And their idea of a pocketed folder is a thick bulky thing that is difficult to store. I haven’t seen anything like this folder from ThinkTex anywhere in the stores, and certainly not for under ten bucks.WHAT IT ISFirst off this thing is made from a type of plastic that seems almost indestructible. I like that so much better than paper folders. And it has one quality I’ve never seen in a paper folder – it opens up very wide without stretching or tearing. As thin as it is it can hold a lot. The tabs are big, they stand up bold so they are easy to see and the unit comes with a sheet of all kinds of tab stickers. I use my own Dymo labeler to created custom tab labels though.WHAT IT’S NOTNeither good nor bad is that you get 7 slots, despite them giving you labels from January to December. It’s not that kind of folder that conforms to months of the year or A-Z but on the bright side it does conform to seven days in a week. No matter, you can either use this folder or choose something else, that’s not something that affects its rating. The way I am using it to store variations of a certain type of document having seven tabs is perfect. And by the way there is no excess size here, this will fit neatly into my lockbox along with the others of the same style that I intend to buy.YES OR NOThis is well made, versatile, colorful and all for under ten bucks. I like it a lot and think it is worth considering.

With a retail cost of ten bucks for one expanding file, this is too expensive. However, on sale in the five pack you can get these for about four bucks each which is much more reasonable. At four bucks each I would recommend these.We needed a new one for school as one of my kids had totally decimated the other one before the end of the semester, so I picked this one from VINE. If I needed to purchase one in the future I'd buy they 5 pack on sale, but not the single one as it's just too pricey.The bottom doesn't accordion out much so be careful how much you put in this, but it's plenty of room for my kids school papers.From the outside this is pretty thick and seems sturdy, though the inside separators aren't as thick, which is one of the reasons I think this is pricey for the single item.The colors are great and make it really easy to find what tab you want, and there are plenty of stickers for the tabs.I'm kind of iffy if the snap will hang on for it's entire lifetime. It seems to snap and hold well, but it also doesn't seem flexible enough or long enough if this fills up. I'm not sure I'd recommend this if you open it daily or if it needs to be completely full.Overall, I'd recommend it on sale in the 5 pack, but if you just need 1 maybe look elsewhere.
