This is a great little set of literacy games, ideal for children just learning their letters, sounds and c-v-c words. As a Nursery Practitioner, I ordered this for our pre-school room as the children there are just started to develop an interest in letters that have a relevance to them. Some are also able to read and write simple words such as cat, dog etc. This set is great for encouraging those early reading and writing skills. You get a pre printed worksheet which slips inside a plastic envelope that can be written on and wiped clean. There are an assortment of whiteboard pens in an array of colours, some wooden letters and some word cards. The word cards have handy illustrations to help your child to identify the word. They can use the letters to build the word, before copying it with the pens. This is a great little literacy set and would make a great addition to a nursery or classroom, as well as a welcome game for use at home. In my opinion, the price of £14.99 is reasonable for this set, although it might have been nice if it included a small white board too. But overall, a decent little literacy set at a great price.

I think this is a brilliant little set. You get a whole bunch of cards (they're double-sided!) with illustrations and corresponding outlines of the words: used in conjunction with the wooden letters, they build familiarity with the alphabet as the correct letters need to be found and matched to form words.As your child gets more confident, there’s also an acetate folder and some erasable felt tip pens to encourage your little one to trace over the words on the cards that can be placed inside the acetate - you can wipe it clean after each use so it can be used again and again for practice.It’s a simple, straightforward kit that’s been thoughtfully designed. It’s not a spelling game as such but it’s definitely a fun, engaging educational tool to build familiarity with the alphabet and trace over letters. There’s scope for progression too as matching and tracing gets replaced with comprehension and more free-form writing. Great stuff.

At £13.99 I think it is a reasonably priced set to and would certainly recommend.

This is a great way for little ones to have fun whilst learning new words. The kit comes complete with wooden alphabet letters and a dry wipe reversible sheet as well various coloured pens and a storage bag f everything. The storage bag easily stores the entire kit and allows everything to be packed away nicely to use another time. The wipeable sheet means that the same words can be practiced multiple times without having to waste too much paper. The sheets have a outline on the paper with the words and makes it fun for toddler to find the correct word that matches the one on the sheet,this not only teaches them about letters but also shapes. There are also pictures of every word on the sheets which helps the toddler to learn visually and remember things better. There are colourful pens in the kit which make drawing own pictures a fun job for children. Really pleased with this kit and is a great addition to learning for toddlers.

This learning set is perfect for children who are learning spelling, it is a complete set which includes everything you need to teach your children spelling and letters. However I was a bit disappointed with the colour pens because it run out very quickly and from the images I couldn't really realise how that mat is working , so is just a plastic mat with a carton you have to insert it and after that write on it , is quite easy to clean it but I don't know how long it will last.It also includes 52 wooden letters which I was impressed with because these are great quality and 28 flash cards with different images on and the child has to spell the words.Overall I think is a great set on a very good price, £13.99 currently.

Great set for little ones learning letters and spelling. It's a colourful and fun set. My 2 year old loves the little wooden letters, and putting them on the flash cards, spelling words. The pictures and words on the flashcards are all suitable for his age, and things he knows and likes. He is too little to trace the letters, but we have already used this set a lot, and will probably get a lot of use from this for a long time. It would have been nicer if the spelling game card was wipe-clean, but putting it into the clear plastic pocket works fine too. The pens all work and wipe well. I believe this is a great set for a very good price, currently at £13.99.
