Great composter + Amazing customer service!!
I was way too excited to get a composter! Hah this one is great! Very easy to put together. Took me 20min.( And that’s only because I took the extra time to put lock tight on the screws) so far it’s working great. No issues at all. It spins with minimal effort and it is big enough for my yard/garden waste as well as kitchen food scraps. It was packaged well and delivered o earlier than anticipated. I haven’t had any problems with the door popping off when spinning the drum. I always just make sure to have the door facing up after adding/spinning the drum. I haven’t noticed any odor coming from it unless it’s open, obviously. It does take both hands to open the door but I think that’s good cuz it means there is a tight fit.I did have a slight issue where it didn’t come with the spout pictured to drain off the compost tea. Instead of sending it back for a new composter, I just called their customer service line (left a message). They called back within the hour, which I was astonished they got back so fast! The rep was extremely helpful and kind. (& quite funny) He made sure I was being sent the correct piece-even getting onto Amazon to look at the photo while on the phone. It was shipped it out quickly and I was adding the spout within a week of calling. Best customer service experience I’ve had in a long time!Even tho a piece was missing I still gave 5 stars for the amazing customer service. Would buy from this company again and definitely recommend to others!

compost tumbler
The media could not be loaded. Okay, so this was my first. I read a little bit about composting prior to buying one. I ended up taking this one because it has a compost tea spout. I thought that seemed like an interesting break away from the various other tumbling composters. It makes sense there would be liquid produced during the breakdown and it makes sense it would be nutrient dense so why wouldn’t we want to capture that?Assembly is easy. It clips together then you screw the pieces together once its clipped, I uploaded a video that shows the process. It didn’t take me very long at all to put together, even filming it, I would guess around 15 minutes? Prob could do it in under 10 if you arnt filming and have tools ready. You need a Philips head and an adjustable wrench or a set of wrenches/sockets.The thing is deceptively large, it holds.. a lot. I filled mine with veggies and fruit mixed with dried leaves and twigs that had fallen from the trees this year. I am about 3 weeks in, there is no identifiable veggies left. Can still identify the leaves though. I used some starter to help kick it off since it was my first time. Its been very cold here and I know the heat helps push it along. One good thing to know though, the plastic doesn’t brittle from hard freezes because we’ve had several since I put it together and it feels good still.

the good n bad...
Easy to put together. Instructions were meh. Very small and little detail. My biggest complaint is the aluminum rod that goes thru the tumbler, it's on the thin side and it holds all the weight. I don't think it'll last long. Even 1 step up in gauge size would make me feel more comfortable with it, time will tell and I'll update. Two things, get Loctite and use it on all the threads. A lil dab'll do ya. one drop can do 2 screws.Caulk it. Get some 100% FOOD GRADE silicone (not the stuff holding yer windows in) and seal the seams on the tub, inside and out. easier to cleanI was surprised it came with no starter instructions. Yes, yes, I have Google and YouTube, I get it, first world problems, but its my gripe.

Convenient!
Fairly easy to put together! I do wish that I had taken the advice from other comments and sealed the composter with silicone prior to using but once I did seal any seams, the leakage stopped! The spout to prevent the compost tea from leaking was missing, but the manufacturer quickly mailed me a replacement piece without any extra charge!

If I had known, I wouldn't have bought this one.
Two things, especially, would have made this composter better for me. Number one would have been a hinged door, or a smaller door panel. When you're holding a plate or container of compost, taking the entire door panel off of this and putting it back on is a clumsy endeavor and the opening is rather large, so every time you DO open it, you lose a lot of the heat inside. The second thing would be a spigot on the bottom that opens and closes. Right now, if anything liquid goes into this composter, it comes right back out. EW.So now that I've set this up and put compost in it, I can't return it. Instead, I get to put a bucket underneath it and enjoy the collection of rank liquid that collects in it, which is not a true "compost tea."I've got some ideas about how to get around this, but I'm kind of regretting my purchase. I've never understood why these things are expensive as they are anyway (and this one's on the cheap end) given that they're just all big pieces of plastic and some screws and cheap metal.I will say that it's easy to spin, at least, much easier than the wheel-on-a-base composters I've had in the past, and it's a good size for a two-person household of avid composters. Regardless, the liquid collection feature of those wheel-on-a-base composters was, as it turns out, a good feature to have. Live and learn.

Improvements can be made.
Over all this product is useable and efficient. I did feel the main shaft was to weak so used a 3/4 in pipe I had laying around and install two plastic pipe bushing that fit right into the hole that was already at the same size as the bushing. 1-3/8. This helped the composter turn smoothly. I also used double backed tape to assemble the four drum panels together for a water tight fit. I am just running my first batch but I am very pleased with this small units function.

I love it
So easy to use, better than that big black thing I use to own.

I like the overall design, BUT latches are sub par and Tumbling is a pain!
Its OK, I like the spigot, which is why I bought this one, but - as others have said - the latches are not secure enough, and the whole thing has to be held in place while tumbling VERY SLOWLY! This means I don't tumble as often as I should, and after six months, including hot summer ones, I still do not have usable compost. I haven't actually had usable compost tea from the spigot yet either.

Easy to assemble
All makes sense but the shutoff plastic valve wasn’t shipped,

Bof
Le couvercle se ferme pas toujours bien et quand on tourne tout tombe par terre. Et puis, de super frais de douane de 50$ supplémentaire de chargé par fedex very nice
