Yes, it superbly work on ovens and other equipment as well.

are these more abrasive than a scour side of typical sponge?

I use them on a multitude of surfaces and have not experienced an issue with scratches

Will these scratch ceramic finishes in cooking pans?

I use the Scrub be Daddy on everything and have no problems. I don't have any ceramic pans. If I did I'd use the Scrub Daddy to clean them.

How long do they last compared to your typical sponges?

I really don’t know how long they last. They seems very durable so I think they will easily outlast a regular sponge. As a scrubber, it is great.
