Well like most golfers, I find ball striking challenging. Hit it fat or thin, face open/closed, toe or heel hits are easily identified, verified with this device. However, it is made of velvet and not meant to be used as an ordinary practice mat. It will not stand up to thousands of shot for weeks on end. They say the surface is replaceable but mine is still pretty new so I haven’t looked into it. After each stroke, you have to brush the nap back to “reset” the surface. I found it more difficult to do it with just the club I’m holding. Easier to use your hand if it’s not too challenging to reach the ground. The bottom line is that the device works and the price is about what I expected for this device. If you are inconsistent in getting pure contact striking the ball this could help.

Definitely helps read your swing but i wish they gave a little mat to stand on so your even with the ball.

honest review- a great deal if you're looking to save money from the impact divot board (over 100%) this gets the job done. .shows club path..easy to read. can put it on concrete and swing on it outdoors. good bang for your buck

I had high hopes for this mat, but it’s just okay. I ripped the suede and tore a quarter sized chunk out of it the first day. The impact area at and in front of the ball dot no longer returns to a solid light color and so it’s impossible to analyze the path shape anymore. I’ve used it twice.On the plus, the weight of the mat is nice, solid yet playable, and it doesn’t go flying when struck.This mat is not horrible, but it’s not good either.

This works well. I have been able to correct some of my swing issues. Still a work in progress, but with this product it will definitely help correct my swing.

Sits too high off foot level. I golf swing is a very precise thing and 1/4 to 1/2 inch makes a difference. I know golf courses are not level, but working out fundamentals needs to start on level ground

Great little teaching mat. Helps fix your swing and is cool to see what exactly your doing wrong.

What I got wasn't what was advertised - for example, there was no heavy duty rubber backing. And with the first pass of the club, the carpet nap that's supposed to show your path was gone. I couldn't believe it, so I put the ball in a different location and took another shot. Carpet nap gone. A classic case of getting what you paid for.

It honestly looks like a quality construction but must not be designed for use with full swings. I tried one full swing and tore a small section immediately. Really neat to see where you hit the mat when practicing chipping.

I like the product it does what it says it does but the durability is still in question for me, I feel as if I were to hit a really fat iron swing I would tear it up pretty easily but all in all I believe it’s worth the price

I was looking forward to this mat. Unfortunately it lasted two swings and ripped wide open. Essentially making it unusable any more. Waste of money.
