Great, lightweight, easy to charge light set
I did not pick up this set on Amazon initially, but at my local outdoor equipment co-op during a fall sale. I am so glad I made the purchase! I feared that the 30 lumen taillight would not be bright enough, but is is very noticeable. I use it in random flash mode, and the strobes are too bright to look at from a short distance away, and are very bright even at a long distance. The headlight has a good mix of modes for visibility as well as path illumination. I ride at about 18-20 mph typically, and the beam is enough to light up my path (on the road, through mostly dark paths and bike lanes that are “shaded” from streetlights by trees) very well. Charging is easy, and the straps make removing/mounting to a handlebar and seat post a breeze. Taillight does not mount correctly to my Topeak underseat bag, which has a horizontal strap to permit lights to clip on vertically. My seat is high enough, however, that I can mount both the taillight and bag with no issues. I love the memory function which turns on the last light mode when the power button is pressed momentarily. I tend to switch on once I’ve started riding, so being able to reach down and switch on the taillight without looking, and still be assured it will come on in the right attention-grabbing mode is a comfort. I love my set so much that I bought a second set through Amazon for my son. I am confident that the lights will keep him safely visible and light his way as well as they have done for me.

Just buy it - Daylightning is awesome
I never leave home without it. A few years ago, a car coming towards me turning directly into me causing me to go to the hospital. She stated she didn't see me. Whether she was distracted or not, I never leave on my road bike without a cygolite dash. I lost one, imediately bought a replacement. I currently own 3 different "dash" models and take them on each ride, loaning my other 2 to other riders. Daylightning is a setting where the top 4 LED's + the main bottom LED all flash at the same time. When other riders at events ask you which light you have, you know its getting the job done. I light may not save my life, but no one will ever be able to say they didn't see me from the front. That in conjunction with the Garmin Varia Radar tailight, I feel alittle safer sharing the road with other cars and truck. They also have a good throw if you get caught out at dusk, I rarely do, but its nice to push the button and have a good headlight - see pic for throw. This is not my only cygolite product, I have owned various more traditional style headlights before finding the dash line and they work great. I have one thats at least a couple years old and still works great. Battery life it very good, I would estimate at least 10 hours of flash setting - which is usually 2 rides = 100 miles or so before charging. micro usb - would be nice if it eventually went to USB-c, but all my other lights are micro usb also so no issue. Other than the output, the small form factor I think it was whats pefect. The rubber strap is permanently attached, and easy to mount to any bar in seconds. As I stated in headline, just buy one - you wont regret it.

SHOUTS FOR ATTENTION - SUPERIOR BRIGHTNESS!
I just received the Cygolite Dash 320 and was so overwhelmed by it that I had to share my initial impressions! My current headlight is the Serfas USL-5 Raider. My main use of these lights is to alert motorists of my presence while road cycling during the day. I use them in flashing/strobe mode to get their attention and hopefully decrease my risk of being hit. The Serfas Raider has been my go-to light for 5 years. I like its small size, light weight, good optics and impressive brightness for its size, and it's USB rechargeabilty. The Cygolite Dash has all these qualities as well but far surpasses the Serfas Raider in brightness, number of steady & flashing modes (seven!) and is still very compact and light. It fits easily on my handlebar without reducing the amount of space for my hands on the tops of the bar. The Dash mounts in seconds using a rubber elastic band and seems more secure than my Serfas Raider (which never fell off in years of use on some rough roads). The primary light modes which I expect to use the most are the Flashing Daytime Running Lights (DRL's) and the Day Lightning. The Flashing DRLs are 4 small LEDs on the top of the light, in flashing mode they are slightly brighter than the Serfas Raider LEDs and have a better flash pattern. But what distinguishes the Cygolite Dash as an impressively superior light apart from any other I've seen (of comparable size, weight) is the Day Lightning mode - 500 lumens of intermittent strobing of BOTH the DRLs and the Main 3 watt Cree LED beam! WOW is it BLINDING! Don't look directly at it when in this mode it's very bright. So given a chance to actually handle the light, mount it on my bike, and experience first hand all the modes of operation, I can unhesitantly most highly recommend it for daytime road riding as a brilliant (pun intended) way to get motorists attention! If you're looking for a compact, high powered, rechargeable DRL with numerous modes of operation that will shout for attention the Cygolite Dash 320 is a "10".

Great light, much more powerful than my old surfas light. Great features.
I mostly do night city riding when using this and it gives me just enough light to see obstructions on the road and helps me be seen by cars and other cyclists. The light has a number of settings that work for most situations, Including in daylight when you want to be seen but you don't want to consume all the battery power. I love that the light is usb rechargeable(micro usb) and has a fairly long lasting battery for me, although I have not timed the charge. There is also a short indicator when the battery gets low that turns the light switch red so that you recharge it in time. One of my favorite features besides the great lighting was that to turn the light off I just hold the button down for 3 seconds and it powers down. Its nice not having to cycle through all the different modes just to turn it off like many other lights. In all, definitely recommended at this price point.

Perfect solution for road cycling, the product is obviously well built and has various lighting options for night and day riding - not too heavy either. Charging is very easy with the USB port and the battery life is good - highly recommended!

Genial 👍🏻

What's useful or unique this light has is the pulse mode. Why pulse? Its supposed to increase visibility and enhance safety by illuminating the road ahead. However, that mode only lasts a mere 3 hours on paper. Such a disappointment. All other modes are the same as what competition brands are offering.
