This latest version of the Cygolite Dash is BRIGHT! I always use this as my front light in "Day Lightning" mode when I ride on the road during the day. The 600 lumen combination of the 4 small flashing LEDs and the flashing main LED is powerful and highly visible to oncoming motorists from at least a 1/2 mile distant and likely up to a mile. I never ride without it. It's heavier and larger than my previous Cygolite Dash "320" which was rated at 500 lumens in Day Lightning mode. Yet if tightly strapped onto your front bar will be very secure and won't rotate "down" no matter how rough the road is. It is more "front heavy" than the Dash 320. It recharges from a fully discharged state in about 2 hours or less. I've ridden in a steady downpour with both this 600 and my previous 320 and have never had it fail or get water inside - just be sure to firmly insert the rubber plug in the Micro USB port. There are many flash, steady, and combination modes that are perfectly matched to either day, evening, or night time riding. If you want a full featured, incredibly bright, reasonably light, compact, reliable and value priced cycling light for road riding during the day and dusk, then the Dash 600 is the one. It will also work adequately for riding on the road and paved paths at night. This is a fantastic light, be confident in choosing it.

Very clear & bright light. Lights up everything in front of you in a far & wide spectrum. Multiple lighting modes. My main use for it is that it can throw a solid light in front of me while simultaneously flashing a secondary light for others to see me. This is exactly what I was looking for. I looked at many top quality cycle headlamps, this seems to be the only that has 2 lights for mixed function. It was important to me for the path to be lit and have a flashing function not one or the other. I often ride at night on sidewalks next to busy roads and want to be seen, especially when crossing!! This light does that, if that's not enough you could use the day lightning at night. You will absolutely be seen!! You will notice signs and other materials lighting up bright white over a block away. I've been using it for 2 months now. So far, so good! Charges in a few hours, battery seems to last several hours depending on the mode you use. On the dual light/flash I think I get 3+ hours. Not sure exaclty. And yes, the day lightning mode absolutely works during the day. Incredibly bright white light!! They claim 600 lumens for the brightness, I have found it has been tested at closer to 700 and believe it. I would prefer a screw down mount but the rubber strap & loop seems to work as long as it doesn't ever break. It does have a swivel on it so that helps you get it adjusted at the angle you would like even if you don't have straight handle bars. Over all, excellent buy!!

I love all the light modes, and it keeps its charge for at least 2 evening rides even while using the brightest mode.

The strap works great and makes it easy to install and move from one bike to another. The beam power and pattern is plenty good enough for my evening rides on the roads and paved trails at moderate speeds. I also appreciate how small/low-profile this unit is for the amount of light it sheds. I also used it off road on my fat bike in a blizzard - it stayed put over very rough terrain and provided an amount of illumination that I would call 'good enough' but not great. There are really no negatives as far as I can tell - it's either enough lumens for you or it's not.

My 600 Cygolite Dash Pro. Now 4 Years old. I ride often on roads and in city traffic. Average 1800 to 2000 miles a year. The rubber mounting strap easily fits around my carbon aero bars. It is now October 2025. And it is still a fantastic excellent value and powerful bright light loaded with modes. Never expected it to last this long!

Really like this bike light. It is small and lightweight, but gives me a lot of light for a lot of hours. The simple rubber strap attaches the light securely to my bike and also comes off easily, which is important since I have to remove the light to recharge it. There are tons of modes, but I only use the pulse modes that are on continuously, but flicker between bright and less bright. I think that gets you more attention from cars without the blink-off phase that confuses them about your location and direction. I use the bright pulse at night and the medium pulse during the day when the bright pulse doesn't give me enough hours for my rides. I wish there was some way to program those 2 modes into the light so I don't have to cycle through all the others to find the one I want.

The light is useful bright in boost mode and max power, but the battery only lasts about 1-1.5 hours at that setting. So it has to be charged if you need to illuminate the road so you can see. Would work well for shorter commutes but for the price I would expect more battery life.

This headlamp does a great job of light up the road. Very happy with it and I know oncoming cars can certainly see me. Mounting system could be better. The original mounting strap broke after about 3 months. Luckily I had a backup from another Cygolite Dash light. That one has been fine. Maybe the original one was faulty. The light can still move around just a bit, as I am afraid to put too much force on the strap after the first one broke. Added some electrical tap to my handlebars and that helped a lot. Other than the mounting system, I like this light. Very good battery life, compact size and it's well made. Bought a second one for my daughter.

Apenas la probé en el día y me deja satisfecho como me puedo ver a más de 100 metros de distancia. Sin duda en la noche me ayudará mucho. Solo espero que la lámpara me aguante mucho tiempo, ya que el costo no es muy económico que digamos pero se nota la calidad del material.

Fabulous front light. Brought for my husband Theres no chance that other vehicles on the road cant see him .

This is not my first cygolite. Cygolite has always been reliable and never let me down. The most robust, bright and affordable cycling led lights.

La compré para una prueba de MTB nocturna. Necesitaba mucha potencia. La carrera duraba 3 horas y la cargué al máximo. A las dos horas se apagó y me encontré a oscuras en el monte. Casi me mato. No se si presentar una demanda.

I have tried many different bike lights. This one is my favorite, it's nice and compact and light. The battery life on it is amazing. I mostly use flashing mode during all my day rides and it can go for a long time, even the solid light modes give you long battery life. Charging it is very fast too! Visibility is amazing. Trust me it's a great light for any need you may have. When it's on sale again I'll buy another for my wife.
