Wonderful combination of French and Italian cuisines from the chef's heritage
Wonderful recipes. My book didn't have a book jacket, but that was a seller issue, not relevant to this review. The chef grew up with an Italian mother and a French father, and was classically French-trained. He has a wonderful combination of these cuisines in his recipes, made approachable for the home cook. He explains the steps well and has a great sense of humor.
