PEROPero, Instant Cereal Bev, 7oz

I've been looking for a caffeine free solution and remembered the Postum I drank back in the day when I was pregnant and told to avoid caffeine. I loved it! Fast forward to now and sadly Postum (the original version) is no more. After reading many reviews, I saw the Pero product mentioned over and over as a great choice. After trying to find it in local stores, I came back to Amazon and ordered it. Yay! It's awesome. Luckily one of the reviews was very specific and said to add three heaping teaspoons to the mug then add the hot water. That's what I've been doing and with just a touch of half and half it's perfect. Pero dissolves immediately and has a nice little foam at the top, too. I couldn't be more pleased with this product. If you're a former Postum fan, don't hesitate to try the Pero!

Makes a lovely drink whether with all milk or a mixture of water and milk. Brilliant alternative to coffee. I use it to make " coffe walnut " cake. Friends can't tell the difference!!7 ounce tub goes a long long way, great value.

I usually don't write reviews but thought this was important. I am an all day coffee drinker and currently trying to reduce my caffeine intake. This is by no means coffee. It is much weaker and not as strong. BUT I do enjoy it. I double the amount suggested and add sugar free French vanilla creamer. It is a comforting hot drink. Made this way it reminds me of one of the international brand coffees in the small tins. It is totally worth trying if you want an all natural drink for a no caffine alternative. Just don't expect it to taste like coffee and give it a chance...try it diffents ways. It worth the purchase.

Tastes very good

It's perfect for those who wants to be away from caffeine but I would like this taste more bitter, sometimes I combine this one with decaf and taste perfectly.I usually drink my regular coffee every morning but then I want it more and I use this, and some afternoon I would like to drink something hot and this is perfect.Now I am not having my heart beating so fast, nervious or shaking. It's a great solution.
